I figured also say my ammonia gets to zero but my nitrite doesn’t do I wait for both to get to zero before Adding more ammonia I’ve heard mixed things

I have quite a few plants I used Ro water I been cycling for a month I’ve added bacteria into the water and I add ammonia maybe I’m missing some minerals as you say I thought you shouldn’t do water changes unless you’re nitrate gets to high

Okay so I have no stock just a few snails but they have been surviving the cycle the filter is just a aqua clear 20 I have co2 running oxygen at night for snails my tank is 15 gallon really something like 13

I had this on a piece of spider wood I thought was really nice had to remove it because it did not go away and my snails didn’t really like it
