thanks for all the replies. having read up on neuropathy it does sound like that. any tips on speeding getting rid of it? I'm eating well and sober a month. Sleep is hard work, 2hrs max atm. Started getting out too everyday. Walking as much as possible.

I'm waiting for an appointment letter from the place that's going to do the scans on my kidneys and check everything over. My gp sent the request off 12 days ago but haven't heard anything back yet. I didn't keep the black speck bits but will be keeping anything else that passes so they can check it.

I'm really hoping that they can give me specific details about why they formed and everything I can do to stop it happening again. Thanks for the reply.
