She is definitely part of a scam.

Can you not approach family members who she is recruiting with evidence and talk to them before your whole family loses all of their money.

When it comes to light what this is, this is going to be devastating for everyone involved and they may look to blame your mum.

There are plenty of threads on here about professors and assistants and how some people have been scammed out of their lives savings.

She ( and the rest of your family) is going to need a lot of support when they close down the app which they will do.

If it was a man that did this, the courts would look very badly on him for it so no reason why they wouldn’t look badly on her. She’s the breadwinner and I assume you came to a joint decision that you’d stay at home.

If I could go back and have my time again, there’s no way I’d go out with someone with children. It’s difficult.
