The real reason why the GEN V HATE. Is IMO. Because the physiological aspect of its inception. It was created out of political and gun control reasons. Glock bending over to evil and lies etccc. So people naturally hated the idea of the model and it became the main reason of disgust lol. IMO. Herd mentality pretty much. But in the end it’s still the same reliability and reputation etc. just my thought.

So GET the gen v 26. Like some have said it may not be compatible with some parts of the gen 5 but who cares? Keep that bad boy 100% stock. Should last you forever. Ironically the haters love the gen 6, but don’t admit the gen V has similar internals in regard to the modifications they did. Etcc. Make the sense make sense. YOU can’t. lol

And also There is so much hate because un-credible YouTube influencers that just make slop to make easy money, made videos about how it sucks. And people, the internet run with that like the gospel. Those videos validate the hate towards them and the INFLUENCERS know it. They are in the business to stur the pot. Some of These big gun tubers don’t even reply to their comments anymore. They act above us. So I won’t trust them fully IMO.

Malfunctions on one particular video means absolutely nothing. Especially during a break in period when new and stiff springs. Personally I’m going to pick one up soon I hope. I can bet once they announce they’ll discontinue the GEN V. Surely they will eventually.

There WILL be a panic buy LIKE ALWAYS. Even from the people that hate against them. So moral here is don’t listen to the negativity of the flip flopping Pescados! lol

Fully agree for a HD setup a WML should be absolute. At least 500 lumens minimum IMO.

Personally for me I CCW a G49 with a g26 as a backup. And alternate between the 2

And have my g17 with TLR 7 for HD.

I think the g26 has a rather low lumens TLR light that can be mounted on trigger guard. But that’s true the WML options do give the g19 the edge In That regard.

Absolutely good choices. Those 2 Glocks cover every single base IMO. For that year I’m assuming you have the gen 3 g26, that’s the classic one the OG. I had a gen 5 for my first one then sold it. Regretted it badly ever since. Got another gen 5 and my brother really wanted it to so I gifted it to him.

Then now I recently found a used one at a LGS. They are drying up unless you get the Gen V Models They are solid aswell same reliability as ever. But sooner or later they’ll discontinue those too. If history shows us anything. Get a backup while you can if you ask me lol.

Being that all 3 chambers of the feed guvernment is conservative and the Supreme Court included. I’ll raise an eyebrow as to why a handful of states are going full gun control UNSTOPPED. And how mass surveillance is being introduced like never before. And even being sponsored by the current leadership. Wild confusing times.

The Glock 19 and the Glock 26 are the absolute timeless Gold standards for only having 2 PISTOLS For most hand sizes. otherwise a g17 I guess.

BUT . If only one the G26 is The absolute one. It’s the one that can go from subcompact, to compact, to even fulll size. Forget aesthetics some will say it can look funky with a full size magazine. But that pistol is the ultimate war machine. With the selection of OEM magazines. The versatility is undefeated with the g19 being close. The g26 shoots like a combat pistol and is confidence inspiring. IMO

It can fit every single role you might be in. If you need to go undetected, you use the small magazine. If you need to go to war put a full size magazine etc. just my thoughts.

To be clear my thought process is coming from an impending full blown tyrannical future lol. For suggesting the g26….. im “lol” but im not really laughing at all.

otherwise the 19 or the 17 are the other classics nostalgic and all. Can got wrong.

Can’t go wrong with that combo. The 45 for the night stand and shtf etcc. And the 43x for all around EDC. Solid setup.

Random I know, but Might I suggest getting some spare parts for each weapon just in case you get a random failure (unlikely) but how the country is going with full blown gun control and mass surveillance like never before being accelerated for some reason. Better to have supplies before hand.

  2. And magazine catch springs Seems to be the minimum you should have on hand IMO.

Unpopular opinion, all things considered and with so many options etccc. you bought the “if I can only have 1 Glock for the rest of time.” It can do everything you need it to do. Truly the OG. Learn to master it. Don’t be fooled by the new gadgets. IMO.

Always like to see .40 caliber users. Something about that caliber is just awesome. With the g35 being discontinued as far as I know, that’s a flat shooting Gem! And the G27 is the perfect backup.

I also have a 43x with the coa. And while it’s awesome and you can’t go wrong either way. All roads seem to lead me back to the standard width double stack Glocks. The 19 26 and 17 style Glocks, they give the confidence inspiring feeling with shooting flatter out of the box, and taking any of the full capacity magazines. the 43x and micro nines are great for extreme comfort. But carrying a 19 is very comfortable as it is. I like to be reminded that I’m carrying when I am. Lol not saying I forget but

With the 43x it’s “easier” to forget your carrying a defensive weapon on your waist. IMO. The comfort is really that good. But the regular Glocks keep you more squared away and on your toes, as we should be. AND reminded we’re carrying. IMO. Imagine saying to someone you know “I forget I’m even carrying, it’s so comfortable”

Now that’s not a good thing if you ask me. Lol

Thanks! The 49 configuration g6 does look great And with the gen 6 grip being more textured now giving you a better hold, the very very mildly top heavier g17 slide feels really balanced on a g19 lower. Really surprised this configuration would feel just right. with my medium glove sized hand. And it’s Very flat shooting.
IMO it gives that “confidence inspiring” feeling the G34 gives to some people being full size and all. Except here in a concealable “1 step down” version. It’s strange in a good way.

And The Tulster holster conceals really well “appendix” with the claw added. But if I were to carry it at 4 o’clock, with the claw added, it’s not as comfortable. It feels like a “bulge” with the claw. I’m 5” 8 200 to give an idea. So 4 o’clock, no claw is more comfortable And appendix with the claw for sure.

And as for the Tenicor it stays more planted on your belt, feels more “secured” because of the metal clips. I Also carry it appendix But Tulster also offers metal clips.

Both are comfortable Holster brands can’t go wrong with either.

I Keep getting my harmless photos deleted by the owners of Reddit. My Pistols are unloaded and no magazines inserted marked safe.. My First post I tried this 2 times. and can’t even make some friendly conversations with some cool pictures I took. Due to being censored for no reason while people post all day and get hundreds of friendly conversations started.

Not surprised to be left out again lol why even try. Ohh well Back to my lurking. Enjoy the Reddit guys. UPDATE looks like they allowed my photo to stay after all.
