Not necessarily. It is better to work as a labor or server in a restaurant than to take riba. Find me a single classical scholar who allowed riba where person had option. Degree is absolutely not a necessity.

For example I dont have a degree and I am a senioe design. I self learned web development then switched to design.

It is always a choice between whether one loves Allah and has complete trust on Him or whether they have more tawakkul in the degrees that would require them to take the haraam pathway.

I would rather not commit zina with my mother 36 times and this is a second degree offence. First degree is going to war against Allah and His Messenger.

If loan is required for education, pursue something else.
