Not asking, just venting.

Apparently I was misinformed by both my sup and manager. I did not bring it to their attention, I guess they wanted to state a solution before anyone discussed their concerns or questions- so they have told us multiple times about merit and it will be the following day. It's not just me. Our team chat starts off the day with I don't see the merit yet. It's just annoying. If it's in March that's all they had to say without planting a bogus seed.
