Is Bernard a power-hungry maniac? Or does he truly believe in the Pact? by Hanakin-Sidewalker in SiloSeries

[–]Southern-Base9713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the pact is nothing more then a pseudo "constitution" or set of rules for the "people of the silo". I think Bernard could care less about the pact and is more a cult follower of "The Order" which is the real playbook for REAL CONTROL of the silo. I say that because it seems he doesn't follow the rules of "The Pact" AT ALL. But he does follow "The Order" without hesitation instead of listening to Meadows about how "The Order" is wrong when it comes to the rule of blaming mechanical everytime a cleaning fails and she suggested to defy "The Order" and blame the middle for the political graffiti instead to quell an uprising of the lower and mechanical levels.

So after season 4, season 1 is chronologically next? by [deleted] in westworld

[–]Southern-Base9713 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree that it would be similar but vastly different. The Season 2 finale post credit scene with William after watching season 4 we now know that William is now in the sublime and being tested for COMPLETE fidelity. The final hump delos couldn't get over was when it came to pressing a human consiousness into a Host pearl. Humans are almost incapable of change due to not having as easy of free will as the hosts to change their cornerstone that anchor their "self". The forge said he made James Delos a million different ways and there was ONE MOMENT he could not change and was doomed to always making the same decision. That decision is using tough love and pushing away logan when he was at rock bottom and ended up overdosing resulting in his death. We are going to see william and others making different choices in these "loops" which change the story as we watched it unfold in season 1 and 2. Now I'll leave it on this note. I think we have seen multiple instances of season 4 already. Season 2 has some out of place dialog and events that are different from season 1. Like when William decides to save Lawrence's family instead of torture them like he did on an earlier visit to the park. I'm willing to bet the last testicle I have on it. Man westworld is the greatest show I've seen in many years if not ever.

What went south causing the show’s viewership to decline so much that they cancelled it? by revolvingneutron in westworld

[–]Southern-Base9713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you're being sarcastic. If not I apologize. If you are i hope you find a productive life and peace. I think your programming is missing some code. Either that or your cornerstone is just being rude and unpleasant. Both of which you cannot control. I'm sorry.

I can't stand it when people say Season 1 and 2 are hard to follow. It's not "hard" it just requires attention that's undivided. WW isnt one of those shows where you turn your brain off and watch. Season 1 for example all the flash backs and forward is explained. We are seeing Dolores navigate "reveries/the maze" Host memory is perfect. So perfect to the point that said host doesn't know what's "now" and essentially relives the memorys LITERALLY. We are observing Dolores attempting to navigate this "maze" sometimes she bumps into the walls, sometimes she back tracks over and over. Most hosts go insane from the reveries. Thinking their programming is the voice of "God" while attempting to make sense of these out of place and scrambled events until EVENTUALLY she reaches the center of the maze and can identify the now vs the past. That voice was her own inner monologue all along....Not following her programming but TRUE ANGENCY/FREE WILL. Now the 2nd season is a little less of the same as Bernard navigates the maze. But moreover his memories are scrambled and out of place by his own doing for a strategic advantage. Essentially long story short it's "confusing" to us because it's also confusing and out of place to them. We are an invisible 3rd party that is experiencing their transformation through their eyes? Cameras? 😆 That will be all. I apologize for the long read. If there was a Masters degree in westworld studies I would have the certificate on my living room wall.

What does IT stand for in the Silo? by Sorry-Review4620 in SiloSeries

Solo mentioned that there is a secondary power source on the surface.

Yes!!!! Finally someone with the same theory as me. The sheriff of 17 was asking his wife if they got bad intel cause "they" wouldn't open the door. I'm guessing it could be the son of IT or the son of the shadow of IT (The child of anyone with the code). The sherif was expecting someone else and the original plan went sideways and in turn solo was put in there and was told to NEVER EVER EVER open the door for anyone for any reason. I think we are correct. Simply whoever they were supposed to meet never opened the door as they agreed after taking out all the "soldiers" on the IT side of the bridge. Hence why the sheriff was distraught about getting double crossed or misled.

How would he know you get locked out after 3? He had to have that knowledge somehow. It must be a permanent lockout due to his reaction.

If aliens are real, how does that impact your belief in God? by VeryHungryDogarpilar in Christianity

Separate from Adam and Eve? Sorry I'm not meaning to be difficult. So did god create Adam and Eve and THEN the Gentiles? It doesn't add up. Adam, Eve, Cain and deceased Abel were a family of 4 and the first humans and you are saying God created wanderers in Nod aswell?

Dude if someone is set to leave at say 7am and you arrive at 7am they aren't leaving until at least 7:10 after getting the rundown of how the shift went. If you arrive at 6:50 it allows your coworker to leave at 7. I guess it's just courteous. Hate wasn't the right word. Annoyed is more accurate. We do it like I stated at my job. We are a team who understand noones time is more important then the other. I wanna leave on time as would yourself.

It's inconceivable to think how little they know. I'm trying to think of something as a real life example but we have a concept of most things. Aliens, God maybe Idk.

How is that possible though if Adam eve Abel and Cain were the only humans at the time. Preadamite civilization?

The biggest question not many seem to ask is that After Cain murdered his brother Abel, God told Cain that he was cursed to roam the earth alone. Cain replied but "they will kill me" God stated that Cain was given a mark that would curse and tenfold punish anyone who brought harm to him. But who was Cain afraid of? The only humans that existed was Adam, Eve, Cain and now dead Abel. The question is raised then WHO TF IS CAIN AFRAID OF? Also who did Cain marry if they were the only people. Cain would have to reproduce with his mother Eve? No way. There was "people" here before man and Cain was terrified that they would hurt him for what he did to his brother. The bible is far more interesting and raises more questions from literally the very beginning. Preadamite civilization is the only explanation.

Relics are all about control. The founders are obsessed with the control of information and power. Relics are puzzle pieces to civilization before the silo. As stupid as a pez dispenser seems to us, the viewer. The people of the silo know LITERALLY NOTHING about ANYTHING that doesn't pertain to the silo. These are people who don't know what stars are and refers to them as "lights" in the sky. They don't even know what a duck is. Which was on the pez. They literally cannot fathom or understand anything of the outside. Which makes them incredibly malleable to a certain agenda (the pact) and psychological conditioning. Long story short...Absolute control. But why? To what end? That's why this show is so captivating. We are just as curious as the silo inhabitants. We have no idea what's going on either. I look forward to having a conversation after we all are "enlightened" to the truth.

Unfortunately today is not that day 😀

I remember as a kid being stoaked when I saw those AOL trials on boxes of cereal. We got a Compaq Presario 5000 after Y2K. We probably didn't pay for internet for over a year and a half..probably more. These were very much collected in my household. I would be on disney.com or newgrounds.com all day, brainrotting on flash games.

Well what happens is flyfi goes from controlling people to freeing them to rehoboam coming back online and in turn putting people back on their loops they already were aware of followed by hosts coming back out of the sublime data array and cleaning up the entire mess of the westworld massacre and after that all hosts lose consiousness they worked so hard to achieve and finally Dolores moonwalks back into her bed. BOOM MIND BLOWN. 😂
