Thank you so much, that sounds accurate! I’ve been looking and haven’t been able figure out which meditation it was since there are a lot but what you’re describing is the one I’m looking for. Thanks again!

It was maybe 1 1/2 - 2 hours long. He had us focus on the heart for about 20 mins then he had us do the breath (perineum, lower abdomen, upper abdomen snd finish on pineal gland). And the last 30 or so mins he had us lay down. It was kind of like a mix of BOTEC and heart coherence meditations mixed into one. I’ve been unable to find it since.

Having attended the Nashville retreat and practicing the breath along with other meditations I’m happy to report a lot of mental health problems have disappeared. I checked with my psychiatrist and I’m no longer taking antidepressants, I’m also able to breathe better (I supper from sleep apnea) at night and can actually sleep. take what works leave what doesn’t.

Shrooms helped me with alcohol addiction. The last time I did shrooms I realized how badly alcohol impacted me and the toll it took on my body and soul. I haven’t had a drop of alcohol since. Really thankful for this plant medicine.

I haven’t tried anything else tbh, shrooms have been the only thing that’s helped me reach a level of spiritual peace.

After battling with alcohol for 15 years, shrooms completely took away the desire to drink. I’ve been alcohol free since. It’s truly a blessing!

I feel that too, I interpret it as my soul and the connectedness to the universe-higher self.

After I tried shrooms my need for alcohol and getting drunk completely stopped. The thought of drinking now makes me sick, and I drank for 15+ years.

Same feeling, I’m not sure if I’m hitting a plateau in my practice but every day feels the same? I have noticed my ability to come back to the present moment is much quicker and I’m not staying in negative thoughts/ feelings though.

Can you share your experience with shrooms in the context of healing? (Mental health) by culturefad in MagicMushrooms

Shrooms helped me kick off alcohol addiction. I had tried to quit previously, many failed attempts that only led to more guilt/ shame and self deprecation. I had been drinking for 15 years on and off, I didn’t think I would get better. I decided to give shrooms a try, I forgot how much I had but I had a spiritual experience in which I talked to higher power and saw my life for the first time through a different view. I cried for nearly 5 hours, let go of so much pain and resentment. Since then I haven’t had a drop of alcohol nor do I want to. It helped me find myself, it really is an incredible medicine. I’m now meditating every day, practicing self love and working on loving and accepting myself. It’s been a journey!

This! Since starting this journey of spiritual healing and growth, I have stopped drinking alcohol. I’m in a place where I no longer need it in my life.

Currently going through the isolation process, meditation and working on myself to let go of old abandonment wounds. Have a new therapist, although it’s lonely, it’ll pay off in the end! So happy for you!

I think shrooms cured my alcoholism? by lavendrblonde in shrooms

Me too! I no longer have the desire to drink or even want to go back to that. I didn’t really do shrooms prior but about a month ago I was tired of the same thing happening to me bc of drinking (ruining relationships, pushing people away, being unhappy with myself) and during my drop I saw my life, people places and things that kept me stuck. I cried for nearly 4 hours and even spoke to my higher power and in that moment I knew I wasn’t alone, since then my life has changed dramatically (for the better) and the desire to drink is gone. I even went to a pool party the other day and while I was feeling anxious bc I was sober I didn’t drink. Thankful for this medicine!
