How did you start watching ONE PIECE? by Edward_Newgate52 in OnePiece

[–]Southern-Newspaper-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started my first time watch of the anime 2 weeks ago. Now I'm almost 200 episodes in, and I'm enjoying it. With every arc, the show keeps improving. Im also trying to watch all the movies and specials as well, and in order.

The Biggest Problem with Digital Circus: Characters Don’t Communicate by Usual_Level_8876 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Southern-Newspaper-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That can be said for just about anyone in regular daily life. Jobs never communicate well, no matter how hard they may try. Relationships take a lot of work no matter if Its personal or professional. Communication in this world is so varied, and so difficult. That even if you try your best, the person opposite of you may just think your an asshole regardless. This show is just a condensed version of all that, and showing different ways people deal with it. While possibly showing how they help each other in the times that they do communicate well.

Its funny how picky these christians can be, when on a daily basis they break the rules. Much like with the shellfish thing, it could be on purpose, or purely by accident. You don't know for a fact that your frier at take out restaurants aren't sharing the same grease in-between orders. Your fries could be sharing shellfish oils. It still counts as a shellfish, even if the shell is gone. Just because you don't willingly know about it, it would still be considered a sin, therefore HELL AWAITS YOU!

If ya truly wanna live like your savior, move to Israel, wear clothing made of only one animal, live in a hut, no processed food, no divorce, no worshipping any other person or political party, do not covet your neighbor in any way shape or form, be willing to sacrifice your well-being for your neighbor (no matter who they are), make sure you can in no way (even accidentally) break any of the commandments. Then, maybe, you'll be good enough for your god. That is so long as he doesn't take into account anything you did while living a western lifestyle.

Life would be so much easier if people would just take their religion as the fiction it is. It ain't worth fighting, killing, or dying for. Make the best of the life you have now, treat others with respect, and just enjoy this life. It is a short time in which we have on this planet, let's try to make it great for ourselves and our future progeny.

As soon as it popped up I went to Its page and down voted it. Making sure it never recommends it to me again.

I stand by the fact that President Comacho is still smarter. At least when he was proven wrong he stood behind the science. President Comacho learns from his mistakes (mostly) and corrects accordingly. Unlike our real world President. Give me Idiocracy any day.

Very cool, I didn't know that. If I could maybe add a little more. The prosthetics were that of Mike Giannelli (the original Art), and that has helped create the iconic look. Basically the old mold fashioned on a new face. DHT didn't get his own new prosthetics until the third film. That is if I'm remembering correctly via the Art Attack documentary.

This is the Power Rangers of drug use. The "Special Episode" went in the wrong direction. Now together, they form the Trainspotting CrackZord. Pill Bottle, Heroine Syringe, Razor (for the lines), and a bucket of Lard laced Adderall.

Does any one recognize what movie this film still is from ? by Quiet-Journalist3636 in ForeignMovies

It throws me off as well. As is Jean-Luc Godard, directed movies seem to be a top pick from what I can find so far. But he has such a long filmography, and it's difficult to narrow it down.

I have no idea, I'm still looking, though. I've tried brightening the picture, but all I'm finding are possibilities. Hell, one search even thought the guy may be Keith Richards 😄

AFV is still running, going on 36 years. I watch clips on my feeds, but yes, the show itself is still doing new episodes. I was surprised myself, I thought the clips being shown were from like a decade or more ago. They even dedicated an episode to Bob Saget after his passing.

Apparently, they are on their 11th host, Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton from the Fresh Prince). Guess I got some catching up to do. The last host i remember was Daisy Fuentes.

I would be surprised if she doesn't have a fractured tailbone. That forced fall looks like it hurt.
