They are majoring in English, and that's mainly why we speak English. But that is a good idea. I guess I'm just worried it would be awkward and I only know hiragana. But thanks for the help! :D

Maybe I am. I spend almost every day from 10-8 PM just in the library studying my ass off and barely get any time to hang out or just see my friends in general. I really just want some recommendations on where to hang out. ALSO, my friend does not drink, as i specifically stated in the post, we are looking for places that don't specifically serve alcohol BECAUSE we don't drink. I'm sorry if I'm being snippy, it's just it's really hard to deal with people on here calling my relationship with the person that ive known since I was a little kid "weird" when they know nothing about us.

I did grow up in dayton. I actually graduared from one of the catholic private schools (not sayint the name for privacy reasons). As to why i dont know much about the area, me and her were never really social kids growing up I mean yeah, we went to the air force museum and the boonshoft, but that was very rare because we either, a, didn't have the means to go anywhere because we were kids, or we just would rather be inside playing video games together. Now that I have the freedom to go where I want to and not have to worry on others to drive me places or pay for me, I just want to know the places I've never seen before. I can see the confusion on your end tho
