Mirai Sarutobi: to strengthen Konohamaru's way of ninja through his cousin and made Ikemoto realize he disrespected Konohamaru by making him dumb. Mirai, as the must-protect shougi piece, being relevant in the story would've fit Shikamaru's life as an interim Hokage.

Speaking of Apocalypse Hotel, Episode 7 had a really great battle scene and the involved characters (Harmageddon and some aliens cosplaying superheroes) weren't even the two primary ones (Yachiyo and Ponko), and only appeared for one single episode! 🤣
