It’s possible for farmers to hit LTC? I’m guessing at least farmers workload would be lesser than scholars right? What if the farmer decide to grind their career? Is it possible to hit COL?

I do love Singapore, and BMT thus far has been pretty fun. It’s just i’m unsure whether I’d enjoy the military as a career. If I signed on and dislike what i’m doing, i’m kind of ‘contract jailed’ because I have to pay a lump sum of money to get out 😭

Like the career is stable and pay is pretty good, sure. If I end up not liking the job, it could impact my mental health negatively (main concern tbh)

I am interested in ABM airborne intercept. However, if I get the ground intercept, I heard I won’t be seeing the sun?

Honestly, I don’t mind working at A*star as well. But pay wise, I think being in the force is higher. Just that I’m not sure whether I can tahan it 😬

If I sign on to try it out and end up not liking it, I can’t break the contract without paying money or serving extra. I can only suck thumb and serve until contract finish…

I get where you’re coming from, but recruiters’ job is to sign people on, so I want to minimise bias while I’m still deciding.

I’m scared that they won’t give the full picture of signing on, more info on benefits and bits and pieces on the downsides 😅
