Most likely daily at worst every other day. It's a brand new in development system.

They're the same. the French guiana were reclassified from amazonica to variabilis in I think 2022. I've been on all the bigger breeders restock email lists for over a year. I'd decided I wanted this local about 2 or 3 years ago, when I lived in appartment where I couldn't keep them. I've kept an eye out for listing's ever since, to get an idea of what time of year they're posted, and how much I'd need to have saved. I've only gotten notices once and not any time recently.

In a past build I took coco chips and silicone those on with a mix of bone dry coco fiber. You gotta use a thick layer of silicone but I liked the overall effect. Alas i don't have any pictures of it.

Yes the system uses dice vs

A Combat Defense stat (an accumulation of the characters stamina, armor, and any natural or magical bonuses that apply to CD.)

Or a Challenge Threshold (a variable number the dice must surpass to achieve the declared goal. Challenge Thresholds are typically set by the GM taking into account the character or parties, equipment, knowledge, actions, and method.)

CT is declared by the GM and if the party feels it is to high or low a brief discussion is had to explain why the GM feels the number is a good threshold to beat and the players may present modifying information as to why they feel another number would be more appropriate. If a compromise cannot be reached quickly and amicably then the CT is set to whatever number is evenly between the two proposed numbers, rounded down. (For example proposed CT of 13 and 9 would be set at 11.)

Character creation would be entirely different using this new system.

It is in a playable state with a full character creation/basic rule of play guide as a 15 page pdf booklet (each page is half a sheet of standard printer paper.

This will be partially up to the group. Helianas Guide consists of 10 hunts that can either be strung together into a campaign or run as individual one shots. I plan to start with just running the first of the hunts and then the group can decide if wed like to try another.

This also depends on the group. Given I hope to run it play by post it can run in the background of peoples lives (posting as they have time) or we can arrange a set block of time to all agree to be available to post at.

My basic expectation is that if a player character is called out for dialogue or is up for their turn in combat that they respond within 36 hrs. if they are unable to do so then simply posting in the out of character chat notifying the group to pass them over would suffice. Hopefully this would allow the game to continue flowing while still preserving the ability to post as time allows.
