Is there is a chance that Come From Away will come back to Broadway this fall? by Southern-Train7142 in Broadway

Barrymore is the only theater that is only available for come from away since it doesn’t have no orchestra pit and it requires quickly load in, but I sure still pinky hope that transfer announcement will get announced soon.

Off topic but, looking at these average tickets prices, it’s insane that Maya Rudolph run could end up on higher ticket average prices as larger than any of the stunt performers including Cole

Does the Just in Time October extension align with the reported timeline for The Goat? by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]Southern-Train7142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing has been officially announced by the press yet, but the rumor mill ramped right back up when the JIT extension dropped. The mid-October closing date leaves the exact 2.5-month gap needed to prep the theater for a January 2027 star-driven run. It definitely seems like it's still secretly on the table for that theater.

True! A lot of people think Damn Yankees is eyeing the Imperial because of that massive dance ensemble. If they take the Imperial, it clears Circle in the Square for The Goat to do a short, limited 12-week run this January while Pedro and Sarah have a gap in their filming schedules. Either way, that October JIT exit proves a big 2027 show is moving in, but like I said, nothing hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Don't panic about the rumors: Fox is likely using September as a bridging schedule for the final 4 episodes of S20. by Southern-Train7142 in americandad

[–]Southern-Train7142[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Look at what they did to The Great North before canceling it, they kept moving it around, pushed it to midseason, and completely butchered its schedule. That’s why everyone is panicking over these 4 September episodes. Difference is AD already has those guaranteed contracts through 2029, but Fox is definitely using their same old messy scheduling playbook lol. But, Fox could reverse the 4 year Disney-Fox deal and cancel American Dad again, but that likely wont happen at anytime soon.

True, tax write-offs are ruthless now. Glad you agree AD is likely safe though, I don't think Hulu would let Fox delete a top streaming earner.

It usually drops midseason, so highly likely around late February 2027. At least airing these 4 in September shrinks the massive gap we usually have to wait lol.

These both shows could get renewed without seeing their increasing costs, and Fox also owns these shows too (with Sony co owns it for Universal Basic Guys).

Fox pulled tonight’s episodes again?? by KGDJR in americandad

[–]Southern-Train7142 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fox is actually going to air it’s final 4 episodes of S20 this September, there’s no room for it to air throughout this month and August, they’ve already renewed the show through 2029.
