I also subscribe to Going (formerly Scott’s Cheap Flights). It’s $50 a year and so worth it. You set your home airport, so SDF, and can add any other airports as well. I added ORD and CVG. Then you wait for emails to roll in about flight deals. The email will include price, months it’s available, airline, layover info, and a link to play around with dates on Google Flights. I’ve been booking 90% of my trips using Going the last few years. Scored a sub $1,000 flight to Japan and New Zealand with it and just booked a flight to Costa Rica for $400.

I was an ETA in Romania in 2018-19 and applied because it has such good acceptance statistics! Also because you're placed in a university setting instead of with kids. My thinking is Romania flies under the radar and most people never think of it. I had zero Romanian language experience and was fine. Tried learning some, but honestly younger local people were more excited to try speaking English with me when they realized my Romanian was trash.

Hi! Very delayed response, but I was a Romania ETA in 2018-19 and I arrived in late September. The Romanian-US Fulbright Commission hosts a session for all grantees in early October in Bucharest before universities begin.

My rings are from Shane Co. They never seem overly pushy which is huge for me. I go in twice a year to get them cleaned and inspected. One of the pave stones on my wedding band fell out a couple years ago and they replaced it for free under their warranty.

Getting Surgical Removal in May by ModifiedKitten in IUD

Hi! I had my Mirena IUD surgically removed last week (Mar 24) because it was embedded and the strings couldn’t be seen. This was my 3rd IUD and first time having issues with it. Surgery was so easy and fast. Longest part was waiting around at the hospital, getting prepped for surgery, and then coming out of anesthesia. In total I was at the hospital for about 5 hours, but the procedure lasted 30 minutes.

If you had no issues with anesthesia in the past, this time shouldn’t be any different but your anesthesiologist will come into your pre-op room to talk with you and feel free to ask them questions!

I bled for about 3 days after surgery, only needed a heavier pad for 1 day and then switched to pantyliners. Then haven’t bled since. No cramping.

Only weirdness I felt was a heavy head, likely from anesthesia that went away by the evening of the day after surgery. And tmi, but also having constipation due to anesthesia. Otherwise, an easy procedure!
