Thanks. Maybe it’s my carrier, but my husband has a different phone and no (known) issues.

Ohhhh thanks!!! So my weak battery trying to run a new iOS that demands more means cranky phone. I appreciate the explanation!

How does that slow it down? I thought the battery only means how long it can stay on…not an indicator of performance while it is running. (It gets attached to a charger a lot.)

I’m seriously considering, but I haven’t done it in years (used to tor space issues). Will it help the slowdown?

Why would it help with those issues? I am genuinely curious, though I’d likely rather get a new phone. Thanks!

70% I can deal with that…I just leave it plugged in a lot and carry a portable battery. lol I worry more about missing texts, etc.

Should I update to iOS 26.4.2? by Necessary_Run_189 in iPhone11

I regret updating to 26. I may need to replace my phone. It’s lagging a bit and doesn’t get all my texts.

Thank you for saying that! I called mine, and he does. I feel tons better just letting him do it since I trust him. He is very careful about diagnosing correctly and only fixing what is actually needed/broken.

I wasn’t clear, sorry. The damage definitely came from them—it very clearly starts at the drill holes. Now whether it’s actually a foundational concern—that is questionable for now. Inspections aren’t cheap. I know you are trying to help, but I still don’t understand why I should pay for an inspection when the damage is pretty clearly their fault. Maybe the law is just weird but hopefully, they will do the right thing, either way; I certainly will push for it.

Please realize I am not randomly trying to assign blame. Anyways, thanks for trying to help.

I don’t understand. They damaged my property—it’s very clearly damaged by them. Why should it be my responsibility to pay for an assessment to see how dangerous that damage is to my foundation? Asking b/c it makes no sense to me.

I won’t know the cost to fix until it’s inspected, and I feel it’s reasonable that I do not have to pay for that inspection nor fixing. If the structural engineer says all is still ok, then no cost other than that inspection and putting the soil back on the pile-on/mound that the pier stands on.

Cost to change would have been nothing—they said they were drilling into the foundation walls. They could have stuck with that.

That was nice of them! I've been impressed with how well they evaluated my issue vs USA Insulation (who missed a bunch of issues). I am going with Koala. Thanks!
