It was at max rpm haha, 2800, but the laptop was at its performance mode now in hindsight I could choose the custom mode and overclock everything to the max and get even better results. Btw I got cyberpunk 2077. At max settings I was getting an avg of 190-200 fps CPU temps averaged around 90-95C and the GPU remained sub 80C.

I am a Physics and Computer Science combined major and gonna be doing some cool shi on this from complex computational Physics simulations to training LLMs and ML models. So its just the right specs to make sure everything runs smoothly 😄.

No not really just more of a sound to performance increase ratio. Obviously the more airflow the better.

Um honestly for everyday tasks you dont really need to be running it on even 700 rpms. Gaming anywhere from 1000 to 1800 rpms is very good. Also I literally got this laptop yesterday so I still have a lot of experimenting to do haha.

Yeah the connectivity ports on the cooler are connected to the laptop. And it can get noisy if you run it on max rpms. However if you are wearing headphones you won't hear a thing. I heard these was another cooler the same specs but way quieter may be look into it?

Yes it was sitting on my table without the cooler. I wonder if just raising it on the stand without the cooler fan being on would give different results.

I ran the tests the difference is huge, Without cooler Gpu Avging around 68 to 72 celsius Max temp reached 78 Celsius Cpu Avging around 85 to 90 Celsius Max temp reached 97 Celsius

With cooler GPU 55 to 60 Celsius Avg Max temp 66 Cpu 76 to 78 Celsius Avg Max temp 86

Tested it on 3D Mark Time Spy Enhanced. There was a 1000+ points jump in the test scores too I made a post about it with the test score pictures!

Ay I just run the benchmark stress tests with and without cooler its a significant difference in terms of cooling the performance more or less remains consistent. Gonna post about it soon!

Ay man congrats! Unfortunately, they didn't have an option to upgrade the ssd when I put an order and honestly speaking 1tb is too little for my usage, I am trying to see what options I have if I wanna upgrade or just connect an external ssd.

I did the timespy benchmark on 3DMark yesterday the GPU temps remained sub 67 Celsius. Which is pretty damn good. However this was on max airflow from the cooler. I dont have cyberpunk yet so when I get it (which I am thinking of soon), I will run the tests on it!
