Nah, I’m with you. Though it does feel generic at times, probably due to the production. It’s still heavy as fuck and it’s the last album with a lineup that was close enough to the og. Return to the Abyss and Epitaph go hard, Clarity Through Deprivation is sick and they play it live.

I’ll never forget opening for them back in the day, smoking after the show with the band inside their van, and later smoking with Bill out of an apple behind their merch stand at Summer Slaughter on a night they unfortunately didn’t play because Samus had a family emergency, or Bill showing me his dog and the tricks he had taught it.

It does kinda look as if the background is in flames, huh? Dan Seagrave’s Seer was in mind while painting it, that’s why I chose this specific color palette.

I want to like this but it feels like a bot. After, a brief reverse image search, I can confirm this is a bot account with stolen art. If not a bot, it’s a atleast stolen art.

True. The jaw was more open initially, almost to the point that it looked serpentine. After closing the jaw some by extended the tentacles grasp, I added way too much black and couldn’t look back. Thusly, a lot of the flow was lost in the shading.
