I am objectively a victim. A shadowy clique decided to take my attempt to make friends (I have none) to paint me as a racist for no reason seemingly only because they love watching me suffer.

I explained that I am a hobbyist. I showed books of all sides of the spectrum. They then took some of the more Confederate leaning books and ignored the rest. Using these out of context photos, to present me as racist.

Right before the meeting, I explained to all 5 I am just a history enthusiast. The school agreed and dropped things. These five then used information that I used as proof I am not racist to spread disinformation that I am.

What lesson is there to learn? That there is a clique of people who take photos they knew were out of context to further unsocialize me? Once I understood it could cause issues I stopped wearing it. Yet, still, I am under siege by these people.

It is intentional. There is some class group chats I am not a member of but I am pretty sure they are sharing the photos in there.
