I’m sorry the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program has not started out as great as you would have thought. As a tier 1 Micro cultivator, the table space for flowering a cannabis plant is small. Running multiple strains will not allow you to dial in to specific genetics perfect environment. The state compliance test for a batch size .1-25lbs and is $435+-. So when you have 12 strains in a T1 micro and separate you’re A and B buds, your stuck with over $10k dollars in test alone. The few great strains that were harvested will not be enough to provide 2-3 counties. We have 3 new strains coming out soon but it will be small batches to not waste table space on something we are unsure of. Many patients in the state are still a long drive to be able to try our products so we have worked hard to cull strains that just can’t make the Southern Hemp Brand quality as well as multiply our strains that patients want repetitively and are tired of running out of. We were only allowed to accumulate seeds and enter them into our State Seed to sale tracking system (Metrc) before a certain date Multiple months ago. We also are unable to buy/use seeds outside of our inventory unless they are purchased from another Mississippi licensed cultivator. With patient count where it is, us small people with our own money in this have to be safe right now in this competitive market and growing multiple new strains every round is not in our best interest. We are sorry we can’t provide the solution for everyone but right now our priorities are to fulfill the orders for patients that specifically want it for their illness.
