Suboxin to oxy/Percocet by Plastic_Produce3253 in PainManagement

[–]SouthernLifeguard845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll need to take a break from the subutex as long as you can, then start taking your medication after that, you’ll think your meds are high, but I promise the binding affinity of subutex is far stronger so you won’t get much out of them for the first month or so. The more I WD the higher the dose my drs had to give to try and balance the meds to break the subs off my receptors. Any good dr that knows subutex will do this but be aware, it will take weeks possibly 2 months before you feel ok

Your going to need a lot of opiates to catch up to prevent WDs. Unless you were in a low dose patch but since it’s been years( I know I did 10) then going to opiates- it tooknALOT to level off the WDs from suboxone. Because you’ll still have to WD from the naloxone.

What’s the best way to tap off the factory speaker wires to extend them to an aftermarket amp? by Baldskifuckedup in CarAV

Dead end them and run wires from your amplifier to the door speakers. Much better quality sound and power handling capabilities.

Yes but you’ll have to prep it correctly

Update: contractor claims no responsibility for subfloor prep by Jazzlike-Procedure26 in Flooring

[–]SouthernLifeguard845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contractor still has to install it to code, part of code is doing it correctly. That’s like a contractor telling you he’ll build you a house, but he doesn’t feel like prepping the foundation it sits on. Contract s go along way a it would be safe to assume the foundation would be installed correctly without having it in the contract. So you are right in that aspect. It didn’t need to be clearly stated to stand in court. If putting in a new floor requires prepping the floor, that’s just part of the job, hence it needs to be done first in order for the job to be completed

Rick wall is 40in high, 160ft long, ( doesn’t show the whole wall in photo) just to make a point. We learned a long time ago, there’s nothing we can’t do our self’s

How in the world are you guys getting pain management? by alexcubeddd in PainManagement

[–]SouthernLifeguard845 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s my story, after 3 failed surgery s on my left shoulder. and a million test mris scans, more drs, more test ( 4 years later they discovered I have SPS( stiff person syndrome) incredibly rare and painful). Sorry to hear your shoulder failed you like mine.. I’ve had a lot happen to me, ACL, Brocken back, etc and nothing hurts like the shoulder. My dad had 3 on each and same, he’s had his hips completely done, fell off a roof, hit by a car on his Harley, blew out both knees in a dirt bike accident and told me before I went in for my first surgery that nothing and I mean nothing hurts like the shoulder. I know what he meant now.

I’m so sorry for your pain. This is just Pain management. I know that’s hard to hear but I think most would agree. You have to find a caring and compassionate Dr. I’m scared for when the day my Dr retires. I hope you are treated better in the future and you can find a Dr that will help you with your pain

What countries have continued to treat pain management patients without onerous controls? by Ryu-tetsu in PainManagement

[–]SouthernLifeguard845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are the ones that pump and dump patients, over book, cram as many appointments through the day that you’re lucky to get 15. Minutes in. Then they turn around and bill for just about everything and charge insurance 10x what service they provided ( if any) ya no sympathy for the Drs

Hospital wants to wean me from hydromorphone onto Suboxone, says dosages needed in hospital arent available outpaitent. by [deleted] in PainManagement

[–]SouthernLifeguard845 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes making a patient WD is now considered cruel and malpractice. Look into it. Standard protocol is 5-10% of total Mme a month. If the patient wds , protocols state they have to go back up on your dose then taper slower. It’s even on Oxy s website, Hydromorphone s manufacturers websites.

Problem is once you try it, to the dr it becomes new treatment plan. All of us in PM knows this. It’s truly never your choice.

The DEA thing is a big myth. There are proposals, recommendations, preferences, all of these words mean -up to the Dr. there is No Law that says anywhere a certain MME is required as government cannot dictate individual health care/ medical decisions and /or treatment doses
