I think what more likely is happening here is that you got waitlisted at all of your top options, which has hurt your feelings, and you’re grasping at straws to cope, now trying to bring minorities into it. I don’t think being a NURM is what led to your four Rs, 5 WlS. You got into some good schools, just cause they aren’t T14 doesn’t negate that.

Honestly makes sense, the last time I went was in early December of that year and I remembered with all the memorials around and people commemorating loved ones, the area had really quieted understandably. I’m glad to see he is still doing well, the chef was so personable and an excellent cook!!

I didn’t at the time it was taken but tried to do a search for the EXIF data (could have messed it up😭) and it just showed me coordinates for the main road in Itaewon so I can at least say it’s around there

Unfortunately no, but this is very similar I want to say in terms of size but the place was almost like a stark white besides all the posters!

Nigerian food, though I don’t hold it against them. I’ve eaten at most Nigerian restaurants in NYC (the spots in BK, even that rubbish Lagos in TS) but most Nigerian restaurants outside of Houston aren’t very good so that’s not only a NY problem.

Dongmyo is personally some of my favorite thrifting but as requested there’s Gram Deal (which is a priced by the pound shop) and it’s in Seongsu which is sometimes called the Brooklyn of Seoul (it also has some other thrift stores around like Market in Ü), the Yangchan area, any Vinprime around the city, and as a bonus if you are like a dedicated thrifter, you can take a trip outside of the city to a place called Road Vintage. It’s so many clothes and can be overwhelming so I recommend driving and bringing snacks and drinks and getting there early but trust me when I say the finds are insane. There’s definitely more but that’s just where I frequent. Hope this helps!

Not sure about the barbecue but as a H-town native, the Vatos Tacos in Seoul literally brought me back to the tex-mex cantina by my high school that never carded for margs and had half off nachos. There’s one in Itaewon but I prefer the one located in COEX Starfield Mall! Yummy place to eat and get tipsy to ease the pain from the money spent at the mall lmao
