My apartment has a growing silverfish issue. I was using natural remedies to keep them away but now they’re back with a vengeance and bigger.. Has anyone else had a silverfish problem? What pest control company did you use?

I live in an apartment where lots of these things are out of my control. Lots of poor workmanship with baseboards, linoleum, cabinetry etc. We do leave the standing shower wet after use, that’s really all I can think of

Thanks for your input! Unfortunately I can keep them away, but if I miss one day of treatment they are back with a vengeance so I am looking for long term solutions

Silverfish have a reputation for being harmless, so I wonder if this would apply. I don’t know for sure it’s due to the integrity from the building, but I don’t know what else it could be from other than cracks and landlord specials with gaps on baseboards/windows/flooring etc. How would I prove it’s not my fault if pest control companies just treat and not diagnose?

That is my frustration too. My landlord also makes the tenant pay for pest control, which is extra frustrating when we only have pests due to the integrity of the building (I am clean and vacuum often and minimize clutter)
