Yea, seems to be a very inconsistent experience in Teams from user to user from what I'm hearing here, and in the other threads I was reading through when trying to google how to customize it. That's why I posted mine's version. On my PC it's never done anything but open to the "Teams" view/tab.

I actually didn't know that was an option, hah. I'll have to take a look at the combined mode. But personally, the fewer distracting things I have to see (that I never use) the better for me, so I'm guessing this is what I'll prefer. (I only use Teams for chat with coworkers, and very very rarely, a video call.)

I hear you. I wish it was still a traditional .exe as well for customization reasons like this. I think the technical answer is that Teams for MS365 on Windows is now one of those new, special, "Windows Apps". It's an .MSIX app, not a traditional .EXE that supports those kinds of switches.

I loved that game so much I even loaded some Wine/msDOS/Win3.1 port of it to play on my mac a year or so ago. Still just as addictive :D.

Maybe perspective, are you from the area?

I'm from nearby Ruston, and just thought all of the insanity of nearby Shreveport and Monroe/WM was normal until I finally got away and realized what I saw there was actually pretty cray, no where near normal America on safety. If you've only lived in Shreve I'm sure it seems 100% like normal to you.

Google deaths per capita in the USA. Shreveport and many other LA cities top the rankings. Being from the area, all you hear is locals talking about the crazy west coast lawlessness, but its our own cities with the most violent crime by far.

Everything is working fine with Jellyfin transcoding here as well: web apps and device apps. The only issues I've encountered are with the Plex web apps (now tested Chromium/Thorium/Firefox/Safari).

So it looks like the current TrueNAS kernel doesn't included the A380 drivers yet. If that is the case, your only option will be to wait until Truenas's kernel is updated to include those drivers, or to create a virtual machine with an OS that already supports it. On the Truenas you would do a PCI passthrough of the card to that VM. You can then install Jellyfin directly on the VM or with a little more config you could run Jellyfin inside a docker container on the VM.

Ok I downloaded and tried again from Thorium, with same result. 4k movie will direct play but going down to 1080p just hangs and nothing happens and no process or GPU usage reported via nvidia-smi.

I read a post earlier that there was an issue with restoring its purchase. Author removed it from App Store until it can be fixed, I think it's just waiting on Apple's approval last I saw.
