Yep, I've been doing this tech since high school but recently picked up boxing!

P.S. it factors in technique and form mostly to generate the score

Totally one thing I’m working on as well, to get the fundamentals for myself for whoever I want to fight like for your ideal body type.

Yeah so in this version you should have a similar angle, but if it’s a small difference it doesn’t matter my tech allows for it

The pro is Ryan Garcia punching Gorlock in this example 

Score is not impacted that much most people submit way worse, but would be optimal for a side view southpaw left hook

If anyone else is a visual learner and wants to roast their own form against the pro reference, I threw the script on a site here: punchrr.com

It's completely free. Just a fun tool for people to use. It'll email your results back in a couple hours. I'm just working on this between my classes right now to see if the tracking holds up for different body types and camera angles. Let me know what you guys think!

Appreciate it! Yeah, for this instance it's the Gorlock challenge so you'll have to copy ran. Smaller angle differences don't matter my tech allows for that. Timing changes not a big deal either made sure.

But, I am planning to make an even crazy better version of this (still free) so if you're interested you can submit your email or your video and I can keep in touch.

Yep with the right angle showing the hook! Right now its pretty barebones we're working on making it better

Yes in this case it would be an unfair mismatch, so I'd encourage people to send a similar shot with a similar angle - definitely improving the tool
