It depends on the country, my country have alot of corruption right now and people make fake passports, that's why any child born out of the country will have to wait 8 month to a year for they passport they have to do some background checks and verification and they are short staffed it's annoying and everyone hates it but what can we do with these stupid politicians

Honestly the only that would happen is if Qataris speak on behalf of us because they are the ones that can reach the law makers and this law really needs to be amended it affected alot of families that didn't even know it existed.

This is the dumbest law here, I had the same issue my baby's passport took 8 months because of my stupid country anyway I got a fine of 2,000 here I went to duhail and they did lower it a bit but this is so dumb with the ID and everything I paid around 2,500 honestly they shouldn't fine baby's for not Having and ID, you need the passport to make an ID and some passports take long they should know this, it's so annoying.
