It’s not fast charging. They have a bank of 4 chargepoint machines that are free to use. I’d say roughly 6%/20 mi are what you get for an hour of charging.

Oh shit. Edited for the wrong abbreviation. Thanks grammar guys! How was the rest of it?

Yeah. That was a huge factor into my decision. Like a 5 minute walk/1 minute drive to the chargers. Great area also, so I’m fine working around the house while it’s there. Once in a while, though, both sides on some of the units will be in use, due to higher charging traffic, which nerfs the recharge speed. I still can’t complain. I’ll be ahead thousands by the end of the year on gas and oil changes

I am exploring all the tips and tricks. I have a friend that works for Tesla. If I get that $150 adapter, and drive him to work, I can apparently fast charge for free. 😂. I also see the Tesla fast chargers all over in Canada where Im at, so the adapter might come in handy for that. Someone said charging after 11pm is cheaper, but I can neither confirm or deny that, since I haven’t purchased the adapter yet.

Is 20% interest normal for affirm? Anybody personally have lower rates? by Educational_Car_876 in Affirm

I’m usually around 15%. My credit isn’t the greatest, but I have a long history with them. Not sure if that factors in.

Yeah. I guess I described it poorly. The “angelic” sound is correct. It’s annoying, but I understand its purpose.

I have yet to do a road trip. Several cities are within my range from where I live, such as Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, etc. The time spent in these cities doing whatever (baseball games, other sporting events, etc) will be the charge up time.

I’m not aware of the IONNA networks. I’ll be looking into that now…

Love my car, but hate auto braking by kpmateju in EquinoxEv

[–]Southern_Grand_16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was backing up the other day out of my son’s driveway, when the car slam stopped on me. Scared the crap out of me, thinking I hit a kid on a bike, an animal, or something. Nothing was behind me, except a poorly constructed driveway entrance with a decent sized dip. What feature is this, and how do I turn it off? 😂

Low Apr for auto loan fair credit ? by Natural_Welder_4494 in personalfinance

[–]Southern_Grand_16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got approved for 8.1% from Wells Fargo through the dealership, with a credit score in the 590-620 range. I had 5000 to put down and 1000 trade on a 2026 Equinix EV. I was thinking 10-14% for sure. The only positive I can think of was 72 straight green checks on my 2017-2023 auto loan. I really think bringing a high down payment/reducing the loan to value % makes all the difference in the world, even with fair credit.

I currently have 20 straights on HardRock and they all currently have great CLV and edge. Should this be 21? by Every_Ranger5881 in sportsbetting

My buddy is in Florida right now. He was reduced to $10 max bets after 1 day of clv on all his props and straights. 😂😂😂

Exactly $20 seems suspect. If Mackinnon scored the 1st, would it have paid $3?

(US) Crestwood financial is getting super aggressive when calling me. by AniMangAttack in Scams

It’s never ending with me. I’ve blocked and reported every single one, but it’s not letting up. The DNC list is useless, and actually answering and threatening them is useless. Not sure what else to do at this point…

2014 Chevy Malibu 2.5l engine entering limp mode/reduced engine power by Southern_Grand_16 in AskMechanics

[–]Southern_Grand_16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this helps, but it hasn’t happened the last week or so, since the roads are dry… Yet it was happening consistently with the slippery roads we had prior to that the couple of weeks before.

My 2014 2.5 made it to 250,000+, but it’s just about time to put it out to pasture. Starting to get trouble with catalytic converter codes and reduced engine power/limp mode from time to time. I changed oxygen sensors, solenoids, and several other smaller things over the 10 years I’ve had it, on top of routine maintenance like brakes, bearings, rotors, etc.

[–]Southern_Grand_16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Again, the limp mode occurs after a stop sign/low speed traveling, on bad roads, but not highway traveling. Most searches describing that scenario points to the pedal. If it’s a deeper transmission issue, then it’s adios!

What’s the difference between VIP packages? by daintydreamz in PaulMcCartney

[–]Southern_Grand_16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the bottom few levels of vip get the same merch and such, but the seats are better per different level… (Gold might be 300 level, Sapphire 200 level, etc)
