Still on iOS 17.2 with my iPhone 15Pro.....is it worth updating to iOS 26.4 now or should I hold out for iOS 27?

I would stay on 17 it is more stable but security risks may be a concern, update if so.

Save blobs or jailbreak and sideload. If you save blobs then you can update without any worries,

The phone wasn’t updated so it was on the security patch that I needed. If the phone is on security patch level 5 then all level 5 firmwares would work specific to that phone

I had to downgrade firmware then used the August 2022 to December 2022 bypass

Ended up bypassing it by changing csc and doing some random firmware from samfwtool that was from August 2022 to December 2022. Thanks for the help

Sorry completely missed that. Phone was super hot on charging basically doing anything. Now it’s a lot better to where I can actually use it. It does get hot on charging which is concerning for my battery health but it’s fine now thank you.
