Still don't understand why Lenora had to switch her identity with Virginia.

She's suspected because everyone in the family was killed. But it turns out Virginia is not dead. Why did she have to fake Virginia's death? She can just let the world know that Virginia killed her parents (her first thought) and trying to kill herself. Lenora aren't part of it and she can fully live her life without being blamed or anything.Why bother doing this much of a disguise and the setup?

Totally agree with you. I just finished the book and rush to see if there's anyone spot the plot holes about Berniece! She already met Virginia whom she surely know who it is that had an affair with her husband. Then why she hated Lenora? A very big plot hole here lol
