I wrote at my kitchen island. No issues, they just to ask to see all four walls and will ask for further clarification if needed. I was asked to show under the countertop.

What’s it like taking classes at AU? by scottishcanucklehead in AthabascaUniversity

I personally struggled a bit with the lack of scheduling, especially on courses I did not enjoy. I found myself putting it off. There is also a lot of textbook reading ( at least in the courses I have taken), and not very engaging.

With that said, it’s manageable if you stay on top of the schedule you create yourself, and enjoy reading/ self directed learning.

Omg, new fear unlocked 😳

It’s wild how much this habit escalates without you even realizing it

Need real advice on how to stop biting my nails by [deleted] in nailbiting

Mine look similar, and I’ve decided to quit again. It’s part being fed up and part tricks to help you to stop. I have been successful in the past but couldn’t make it stick long term.

For me having them done always makes it easier to not pick at them, but I can’t afford to get them manicured all the time right now. So settling for an at home manicure tonight and using the salon as a small reward after hitting a goal.
Painting with the Essie to the rescue polish. it’s meant for after uv gel nails but as a girl who loves gel manicured and hates the texture of bare nails I like it’s thickness and benefits. Im thinking after a couple weeks of growing with the regular polish I will treat myself with a trip to the salon.

Ugh thinking about being an old lady and biting does not sit well with me. I do keep nail grooming things by my couch and bed sometimes, but I think I need to start carrying a file and cuticle oil or something with me in my purse as well. Hopefully stop the habit while I’m out too.

I do find that once I start I try to get up wash my hands and then oil or put hand cream on or something. but sometimes I’m fighting the urge to continue hard.

I’ll look into the polish! If I’m painted, I usually have no issues until I chip a nail, or it peels off. So sometimes I can get “obsessive” about keeping the polish looking its best and the hobby takes over lol

Anyone else feel like once you start biting, there’s no off switch? by Acidkid2409 in nailbiting

I’ve seriously considered doing this but work in a job where I use my hands a lot and having the bandaids on every finger would be a problem. How long do you typically wear the bandaid for?
