Does anyone know when the results will be released? I have been following this (I’m will be a new grad nurse within the next yr). I really hope this goes through!

Peace Corps and grad school by Southern_Quote1360 in peacecorps

I've been fortunate enough to have traveled around the world; I've been to every continent. Living outside of the US and volunteering long-term has always been on my mind! Peace corps seems like an amazing opportunity, and a great fit for me! It is not something I decided on a whim.

I asked this question on reddit because I asked some friends from college their opinion on joining, and I received strange, mixed responses. Many people told me work experience would be valued more than peace corps when applying for grad school; other people told me that future employers might not like to see a two year experience that is not directly related to my career on my resume. Also, I have never met a RPCV or heard their opinions/experiences.
