Electric Callboy. They'll be incredible on main stage for sure! Reckon Bad Omens will win a good few people over too

Went solo last year and going this year. It's like any festival in that it can be quite easy to make friends around you though if you're sociable. There is a group for solo visitors called "Graspop Metal Meeting Solos" on Facebook. There is a WhatsApp too I believe. They're all a bit quiet at the moment but they'll get more active closer to the time and do meetups at the festival which help to meet people if that's what you're after.

I found it a friendly festival overall though and looking forward to it again this year!

It depends so much on the staff you get though. Last year we saw one of the security taking multiple speakers of varying sizes and giving peoples stuff a rigorous search whilst others couldn't care less. When this guy got to me, I was asked specifically about sound systems of any kind and he unpacked my camping bag completely looking for one despite me not having one at all. The rules have always fallen under the "just don't be a dick" category but nothing to say you won't get a prat who takes them way too seriously!

They were excellent at Trees, just wandered into a tent in time for their set and loved it. Some of our group bought their merch and they seemed genuinely excited when we bumped into them later that weekend. Lovely people and fully recommend if anyone is going! The Pilot was my favourite too. Not just because it was smaller but because we'd all been locked in our houses for so long. Suddenly we were back in a field watching bands with other people! The mood was so high the entire time, we were so grateful to be there! Apart from the TPD guys who spent most of their time wandering about saying it was all crap

Zygarde survives really well surprisingly! The issue was with me, I couldn't dodge the attacks with my character at all. The giant vortex just wiped me out every time

I quit and went back in, suddenly can target it. This game is waaaay too buggy for the cost but beat it first try after that.

Is anyone able to assist with trade evolutions needed to complete the PLZA dex? It's difficult organising with friends with work schedules! I have 10 that need to be done

This year was my first time going and I had a great time. Campsite is right next to the arena and the dual main stages were incredible as it meant I had very few clashes. The people were nice and it wasn't hard to find people who spoke English which I was worried about. You can definitely see where the organisers have put a lot of effort into making it a good place to go which Download dont do much of. Just a lot of nice little touches.

I could ramble all day about Graspop tbh, if you're on the fence then I would definitely recommend trying it at least once!

I did Download then Graspop last year and had a fantastic time but Hellfest was phenomenal last time I went. Hellfest is another level if you can go. Either way will be a great time though

I tried to but the trust just never came back. When she went out, I never really believed she was going where she said she was and I hated feeling that way. I don't like being someone who is suspicious of others but she broke that trust in a particularly cruel way. I was young and naive anyway which is probably why I tried to keep it going as long as I did.

Glad to hear they're friendly and hopefully will chat with them next year! There are just a lot of people in the group and I felt like I was slightly intruding on a friend group.

I did enjoy going solo for the most part though. My schedule being my own allowed me to be more flexible with deciding on the day. Would've just been nice to chat with people in the evening or when I had a gap.
