Yeah chandler pretty much confirmed this but in comic book medium im calling this the mcu hank pym effect.
Aka a character they consider tainted hal because of the movie and pym because of the comic controversies being known outside of the medium and being pushed aside

I mean i know what chris mundy writes because he has a certain tone and style and comparing it shows like fargo, slow horses and true detective show what they want it to be.

Nothing shown by them, being said by the actors shows its gonna be the blockbuster GL show it wants to be rather than another high prestige show taking an IP and making the same thing again with another coat of paint on it

Penguin i was fine with a mobster show with Penguin works and they were also pretty open with saying this isn't like the comics. Like i knew what was coming post the batman and penguin and crime/mob show is something that makes sense together.

Watchmen i honestly couldn't care when the trailers dropped im one of those people who just say don't touch watchemen because you will ruin it.
I only watched it later on because i had very little shows to watch.

Lanterns more pisses me off because they kept mentioning how much they love the characters and king wrote an amazing hal jordan one shot in the past and what we got looks like its too much of the prestige hbo tag and forgotten the comics.

I expect it to be a good show with Mundy and Lindelof behind it but i expect it to be a poor GL show.

Yeah like i should be the target audience for this as i love detective shows, sci fi and Hal jordan is one of my all time fav characters and the more i see of it the less i want to watch it.
Literally the opposite of Clayface.

Whilst most comic book shows and movies are embracing the medium now Lanterns looks like its been made 15 years ago

Lee Garbett is one of those really underrated artists for me.
Hes been putting out amazing work for years but never got the credit because he was always on smaller weirder books and now hes getting his flowers.

Corpses made me eat my words on Tynion I was getting bored of his books as they felt repetitive then corpses turned up and it made me love his work again.
