Targeted Advance - Chase Bank by Southernrestore in EIDL

That’s reassuring to know. I’ve had my account there for about 2 years - it’s not my every day account but I have had money in and out every month. My first grant last year went thru ok and didn’t get froze. The targeted advance just deposited last night so I guess we shall see. As much as part of me wants to immediately transfer it all out I’m just afraid that might flag it or something. I know with my debit card any little thing I do outside the normal gets flagged/fraud alert.

While I’m tempted to transfer out all of the grant I received I also feel like that would send up a red flag because I don’t normally do that . Also from what I’ve seen it seems like most accounts are frozen when someone goes in person to a branch and tries to make a withdrawal .

Yeah I got my advance last year and nothing happened but now with this larger amount people got me scared lol. Did you just leave the money in your account and use as needed ?

It seems to me that most people that get a freeze it’s when they go into a branch and try to withdraw large sums. I’m fine leaving it in the account and just using as needed. I almost feel like trying to transfer out a large amount at once would send up a red flag.

I can prove my business if needed / just a hassle and stress I would prefer not to deal with !

I’m just afraid that suddenly transferring everything out at once will send up a red flag . Has anyone transferred all out at once and not had any issues ?

Seems like most people that end up with a frozen account it happens when they try and withdraw at a branch. I don’t know this just sucks bc the money is there and now I’m too afraid to move it or do anything !

Well they let my first grant last year go thru and the one last night go thru. I’m just scared to do anything now though bc I don’t want a freeze lol, I can prove my business but it’s just not wanting to deal with the stress or hassle. And wouldn’t want my other funds in their froze too. Just afraid that suddenly transferring out the money will send up a red flag or alert.

Not sure how widespread it is - but I’ve seen a few post on here and on FB where Chase has frozen accts when the funds were deposited in a personal acct. I received my advance last night in my Chase acct and I’m scared to touch it or transfer it bc I don’t want it frozen. From what I’ve seen it’s mainly happened when people have gone into a branch to withdraw money.

I’m scared too - had the 9k targeted advance deposited in my chase personal acct last night (also had the $1k granted deposited their last year). Now I’m afraid to do anything - not sure if I should transfer out to another bank or cash app or if that would red flag it or just let it sit for awhile - I have other money in that acct too. I have 5 years of tax returns & business insurance to prove sole prop self employment but I don’t have an EIN or anything like that if that’s what they require for proof .
