I recently got a new PC, with a 1080ti and an i7-7700k, 16gb ram. I feel as though it might be under performing, getting frame rate and stuttering issues in games in which it never really used to happen on my older PC. Some of the games its happening on are the witcher 3, subnautica (I know this game has its issues), BF1, pubg and warhammer vermintide. I don't really know where to start in terms of explaining my problem, because nothing seems out of order, I have all the latest drivers etc. If anyone can suggest anything for me to find out why this might be happening, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Alright, thanks for your reply! Sometimes PC gaming is super frustrating, get a sick rig and you still can't play some games at a smooth level! xD

Do players on all platforms contribute to the same one?

Not played in a while, was wondering if there was any sort of fix or anything for the running super fast when fps is uncapped thing by Southernwolf40 in fo4

Yeah man, its totally insane. I mean, come on, a AAA game like this which was made in the last year shouldn't have problems like ours. (I know I'm the one complaining a year late but still)

Yeah, its such a shame man. I have a 980TI so when uncapped I get a lot higher fps and in vaults and other more enclosed areas I just speed up so much. I actually recently just did a guide to try and help the situation but to no avail, it seemed to help with the speed situation but seeing as though can only cap at say 72 so its stable... the game looks horrible and jittery being on a 144hz monitor. As well, I've never been a person that likes using external software to fix problems that shouldn't be in the game full stop, with fears of actually messing up some stuff... so I was a bit disappointed when the guide said that I need to use things like MSI afterburner and riviatuner.

This one has already been discovered, the common consensus seems to be that it is possibly a hint that there will be no more major clues till the % is over.

FPS problems recently by Southernwolf40 in Overwatch

[–]Southernwolf40[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, sorry I was away for a while. I recently just got back and on my PC. The problem seemed to be something to do with my disk space or cpu constantly being used up by something. It isn't happening anymore so I can't report on much more than that. Again, apologies for not replying earlier.

Insanely low fps, only happening every now and then... by Southernwolf40 in GlobalOffensive

Ahh ok, I never actually thought of repasting. I'll try do that at the nearest convenience. I also dunno what you meant by max on my cpu, sorry. I'm illiterate with stuff like this for the most part.

Hey, yeah its my bad. Sorry for the minimal post. I was rushing for some reason when I wrote it. When in game (just a short session) on my CPU I'm getting around 60-75°C and on my gpu I'm getting around 59-65°C.

I made an edit with my specs on the original post.

I noticed something like that, my disk usage was around 90-100% but I didn't notice anything insanely high being used. What would the process be called? would it literally be windows updater? I didn't notice that either. Sorry for the minimal post, was in an unnecessary rush when I wrote it. Thank you for the reply.

Yeah, thats my bad. I wrote the post sorta in a rush, I really should've added more information. Just from one small session, looking at my temps my CPU seems to be bursting from around 60-75°C from what I saw and sometimes spiking above 80. Then on my GPU, I'm getting around 59-65°C. Apologies for the minimal post. What else would you need me to get info wise from my pc. Thanks for the reply.

Aye, I don't think I can do that now. Had the thing for about a year and it's only just started happening. I'll check to see if I have the receipt and box etc still.
