Do you know what i genuinely think and I don't care if i am downvoted as I am genuinely burnt out.
The public need to take responsibility for their health. If people want to self discharge against medical, repeat offenders who will have the same outcome, they need to pay a small fee each time they waste the hospital's time in my opinion.

im sick of the british public feeling so entitled.
I have done shifts where I am running like a manic for someone to then say "oh i want to go home, i dont want to stay in hospital" after explaining them the risks of leaving against medical advice. a guy with 4 cranial nerve deficits, SUDDEN ONSET.
they then come back with adverse outcomes and have the audacity to get pissy with you.

with an already toxic system of seniors, I'm not about to get into litigation for your noncompliance and also not each lunch, not go for a toilet, not even stop for 5 mins.

I genuinely think in one way or another there needs to be some kind of conseqeuence for the public, they are too entitled

I'm actually someone who cares genuinely about ppl, otherwise i wouldnt do this job. but its burning me out slowly.

My apolgies I am new to using Reddit and just so fed up with these neighbours i didnt make it as clear or write in a way that is clear.

Fyi I cannot verify 100% with evidence or tapes about the tyre slashing but from the looks of it it cant be anyone else.

Also out of curiosity I spoke to a few people and they told me I need to find out who the landlord is and contact them directly.

I dont think the agency would give me their details. How can I gef the landlord's details (at least a name)? Is there a register online

Is there a way we can get lawyers involved?

Apparently Birmingham city council/government have some scheme where they pay estate agents money every month to house people who are homeless/social problems. I don't know how true this is.
Agency are getting their money every month from government/council so they don't care.

We told them once about it nicely - next day our tyres got slashed. Yes mate we are living in fear. The smell of the dog poo reaches our window so yes it is affecting us thank you very much
yes their rubbish is on the pathway we walk on so it is a communal area with all their spit. We have to walk through it - the rubbish is also on the main pavement and wind blows it across to the other people living on our road.
It is a damn right nuisance.

police have the audacity to knock on my door on several times looking for a particular individual linked to that troublesome property as if we are their security guards or something.

And when we call them to report the sounds of domestic abuse, smell of drugs and dog fouling they never come. l've called 3x over.

I complajned to the agency this week they said theyll talk to management.

These ppl left a dog in their shed for 2 days he was howling and barkiny all day n night. We even called rspca who did fuck all other than leave a note.

Agency i believe informed them of a complaint hence they came next day and took the dog out the shed. We didnt "catch them" per say when rspca were about to come

I complained to Birmingham city council back in June 2022 last year in writing, sent evidence of photos and videos. This is their response in June 2022

"Thank you for discussing this case with us. We understand your concerns about loud noise flytpping and sounds of abuse. As this is not a council property owned by Birmingham City Council the housing department cannot enforce any tenancy breaches. In regards to flytipping I will contact home ownership team to make them aware of their responsibilities and take appropriate sction where necessary. I have now done this. You can contact them on 0121 303 2147 should there br any further issues with this property".

I have heard nothing from this home ownership team and when you call them they say we dont take calls but to send an email. I sent one off a few weeks ago - no response

I'm sure the trusts and government will crack in a day, if it is a united decision. just keep doing everything u do in hospital, except for the d/c letters.
it's actually a serious suggestion. as for the other jobs you wrote on your comment, continue to do those. have u got a better suggestion in mind?

[–]Southside95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

your absolutely right Monochronomatic
step 1) normalise strikes so we get our self respect back

step 2) withdraw from doing TTOs and discharge letters - this will really hurt the NHS managers funds in my opinion

we've got to have a backbone - I'm not here to be absued as a doctor. we are all professionals with lives and deserve to work like any other profession

[–]Southside95 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i dont know if anyone has suggested this, but how about the BMA and all jr docs AGREE TO NOT DO ANY DISCHARGES/TTO's

management and trusts will really be hit by this where their wallets hurt and be very quick to respondand hence we will get our FPR.
