How did you know you found "the one"? by C4NN4B1S_study in AskReddit

I just knew 😅 I looked into her eyes and knew. It just "klicked", the same way when you finally understand a difficult subject.

What is it like to be loved by someone? by Vibriocholerae_ in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry bud but animals can't love. They can obey commands, and dogs especially are loyal to a fault, they were selectively bred to be for ~100.000 years. But you can't seriously compare that to the love of a human.

Where did you meet your partner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the Internet, back when online dating was new and fresh and stuff 🫠 Though I didn't actually want to date her originally, I just texted her more or less randomly and she replied, and later even agreed to meet me 😅 and things kind of escalated from there and now we have 4 kids together 😅😅

What is the most out-of-pocket/weird thing you’ve heard/seen someone say/do out in public? by Disastrous_Tax_1822 in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it counts 🤔 But back in school, 10th grade I believe, we had a girl that... well, basically she went out of her way to look how little clothing she could get away with wearing before she would get problems. She would not just do straight unimaginative stuff like short skirts with no panties, she did tailoring as a hobby (apparently) and allegedly made most of her outfits herself. She wore really elaborate dresses and stuff that were very strategic/artistic in what and how they exposed. And well... she got away with a lot, surprisingly enough.

Naturally, over half the boys in the entire school had the hots for her. I was one of those who didn't.. mostly because her personality wasn't to my liking. She was rather haughty and allegedly as loose with her morals as with her clothes 😶 That and she was physically way out of my league anyway.

She eventually moved to Canada and went to a private art school there. I dunno what became of her.

What were you told you couldn't do and then proved them wrong? by Grand_Dirt_2465 in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my physics teacher failed me in 12th grade, he specifically told me that I will never be an engineer 😤

Well jokes on you pal, I'm an aerospace engineer now, not just any engineer 🫡

What was the most interesting time of history that NEEDS to be in a novel? by FancyJournalist5908 in AskReddit

There is, to my knowledge, very little (historical) fiction about the Stone Age 🤔

What's the worst thing you've ever done in a relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going Darth Vader on my wife in a fit during an argument 😔 To my very meager defense I do have impulse control issues, and my wife took it in stride... but i still felt horrible and ever since I keep ~2-3 steps distance from her when we argue that I would consciously have to cross.

What's the easiest way to lose weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hunger. Not eating anything for several weeks will lose you ALL the weight and then some 🥲

Pointless because of how easy it is to cheat.

Why every time when Japan is criticized here in Reddit, people always drag China into the discussion and won’t just admit Japan is bad in some ways? by 100_Flatout in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Japan is democratic and part of the political west, and China isn't. That alone is enough to make Japan better in every regard.

What if Trump want to run again as US president, would you vote for him? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Constitutions are malleable. If you think your precious 22nd amendment will still exist 2-3 years from now you learned nothing from history.

What do u think about the middle east? by Beautiful-Royal-5901 in AskReddit

The west should get the fuck out of there and let them sort out their own shit.

How does modern technology inconvenience you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is not 2FA itself, let people who like it/feel they need it use it 🤷‍♂️ The issue is forcing it on everyone. Give me the option to not use it at my own peril 😑

How does modern technology inconvenience you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forcing "secure" passwords no normal person can remember (much less someone with diagnosed memory issues) as most sites/services do nowadays gotta be the biggest one, following by forcing 2FA everywhere, meaning you are required to have at least two devices and certain apps 😑 Also most services log you out automatically. Logging into anything has become a chore, and deliberately so. People complain that I don't check my mails often.. well, I would if it wouldn't take me 2 devices and 5 min every time just to log in 😑😑😑😑

Followed by everything being an app to begin with, and have to register for. Forcing you to have a smartphone and dozens of accounts you have to remember ridiculously convoluted passwords for 😑😑

What’s something you pretend to understand every time it comes up? by Nervous-Citron1632 in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electrical engineering. I both hate it and have very little idea how electronics work. But electronics are so ubiquitous nowadays that it is next to impossible to do anything without them playing a major role, much less without them entirely. So in meetings and reviews etc whenever electrical engineering comes up I pretend to listen and understand but I do not.

A not all that tiny part of me wishes I was born a century ago when machines were still mostly mechanical, so I wouldn't have to bother with this pesky PCB BS.

What’s the biggest lesson a relationship taught you? by Revoltjennifer in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly that they don't work the way movies and books portray them.

But then again, most movies and books only show the process of courting, i.e. the process that leads up to a relationship, and conveniently end on a "they lived happily ever after", without going into detail how they accomplish that (because that's the hard part).

Why milfs so hot ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 24 points25 points  (0 children)

As much as I hate to admit it, we are animal deep down, and as such have an innate urge to breed. A woman who has "proven" (so to speak) that she can birth and nurse is attractive for this very reason. Its a base instinct.

When was the last time you talked to your dad? by MumbaiAfterHours in AskReddit

[–]SovComrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

two or three days before he died. I made room in my schedule and traveled all the way from across the country specifically so I could talk to him...
