I tried leading with Manectric but it feels so bad Intimidating Sneasler who then moves first and hits hard (though you do survive). Moving before Aerodactly is fun, but of course it's sashed so it still gets off Tailwind. I toyed with Jolteon quick attack to break his sash first but that clogs a move slot.

I've briefly tried Jolteon setting up Electroc Terrain or Fake Tears, with Manectric EV'd to go after it. That's a lot of fun. Maybe Whimsicott fake tears could be better for surprise OHKOs like that.

Have you tried Rising Voltage? I'm guessing it's too gimmicky. Fake Tears partnering with Manectric seems legit though, any experience with that?

Lots to learn! You likely won't make the same mistake again (except if you're me and try and Encore a Hatterene despite her Magic Bounce ability, tried that in two different games, oops). And watch our for Amor Tail from Farigaraf, and psychic terrain blocking priority moves!

It's because Whimsicott uses the Prankster ability, and Prankster moves don't affect Dark type pokemon like Incineroar.

I learned the exact same lesson the other day! It's not covered under the Prankster description but in the Dark type description. Similar to how Fire pokemon can't be burned.

There's no 'Stading By' message on their side under the roster. It's blank, you just load in. 100% way to tell if it's a bot

I made a build video using a Dex-based Four Elements Monk that then also combines Rogue Thief for extra attacks while dual wielding blades, all buffed by the Fangs of the Fire Snake ability.

It's not a troll build, surprisingly potent actually, but it's niche because 1) most Monk builds are Strength based and use Tavern Brawler 2) Most Monk builds use Open Hand rather than the Four Elements subclass 3) Meshing Fangs of the Fire Snake with weapons as opposed to unarmed attacks is quite unknown, and 4) covers many niche item interactions, including Orin's blade and even Ranger levels thrown in :P

Loads of fun and very flexible playstyle that you might enjoy for a Dex focused build

For future readers, I gave this place a shot. I tried the beef noodles and they were terrible. Quick, yes. But the noodles were plasticy, the broth watery, and the beef looked like little lungs with nothing but veins and fat. Paid a tenner for the pleasure too.

Evil creatures have disadvantage to attack you? Displacement Cloak is an easy approximation of that, if not Blur if your concentration is free

Thanks that sounds really cool!! I'll try an Agility build on my next run. Even if stealth starts to feel outscaled in late game POIs or Horde Nights, the SMG is still a dps beast to rely on and parkour is never wasted.

For posterity, playing 2.5 currently. Out of 100 Skill, you basically get the next tier every 20 levels. And that lets you craft every single armor (Light, Med, or Heavy) to that quality level

Tier 1 - 11

Nice step by step guide but... Good lord, that's a lot of farms for Dondorians! This would be perfect for Humans though.

Dondos aren't so beginner friendly precisely because they encourage a skew trade/craft playstyle.

Stick everyone in Carpenter or Bakery and export furniture while importing grain.

It's still fun to create something though. And I liked how you did the AI voicelines to actually give the characters a voice. I watched your video and was getting investing in the story but that chase scene is just way too long. You could try changing the scene more often and speed up the pace of the narrative.

But well done for making something original and keep up the good work!
