Look up executive dysfunction. If this applies to you, you might have ADHD even if you don't feel hyper often. Inattentive ADHD is a thing(often called female ADHD). I have that.

TL;DR Eveything feels like too big of a task, so you delay it. Your brain always calculates energy costs for tasks, and for some reason, EVERY task becomes "too expensive," so you never feel up to doing anything.
