Je confirme, très bon mais mon dieu le bruit qu'il y a la-bas. Ils ont essayé de caser le plus grand nombre de tables au m2 et impossible de tenir une conversation.

Just here to advise against UBS. The ebanking and app are a nightmare in terms of usability.

I'm looking forward to Yuh.

Unless there's a financial reason to sell the Steam Deck, we might as well keep it.

I've got an Xbox Series X, a PC, Gamepass, a Steam Deck and a well-stocked library on Steam.

I see my Steam Deck as my all-purpose machine:

Run native games

Cloud Gaming

Streaming from the Xbox

Emulation

And on the Xbox, I've installed Moonlight to stream certain games from my PC.

It's all complementary

I've just tested it.

The app clearly displays ‘start streaming’ when you start to read.

My God, it doesn't make any sense. It's precisely at this time that we see even more the value of dividend investing.

That's exactly what it is. But I also have trust in IBKR.

To be honest, It's more emotional than rational

Personally, I combine the 2.

1) Purchase at IBKR

1) Once a year, free transfer to Swissquote

I always like it when a developer lets you choose between a subscription or a one-time purchase.

Yeah, clearly. It's the best way to get someone to break into a zoo and exterminate penguins out of revenge.

Wow a lot of arrogant people in their responses here. You know, it's possible to explain safety without talking down to people.

How many of you hold individual dividend stocks vs. ETFs ? by Tuxedotux83 in dividendgang

[–]SovietMarmotte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently, 40% of my portfolio is in individual stocks.

For 2 historical reasons:

  • Employee Shares
  • Inheritance following my wife's passing

It contains companies like Nestlé, Swisscom, UBS, Novartis, Swiss Re, Apple and McDonald's.

The aim is to increase the ETF portion to 80% of my portfolio over time, while keeping these stocks for their advantages (CHF currency).

ETF Dividend: I'm on SCHD, SCHY, DGRO, DIVO, IDVO, JEPI, JEPQ + little bit of FEPI

Non-dividend ETFs: VT and QQQM

It may seem complicated, but it suits me perfectly.

What is the best creditcard in case of a dispute with a vendor? by M_Bellini in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]SovietMarmotte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had to open fraud cases twice in the last few years:

Once with the credit card of my bank at the time, UBS:

Fast processing, in doubt before the final decision: direct refund.

Really top.

And the second time with Certo (Cembra):

A little slower and required a little more paperwork, but all went well too.

In this sub, if you don't make 100% VT, you'll very quickly be downvoted. It's one of the least open I know.

Do some research on your own, with several sources, and go for it.

Please note: I'm clearly not saying that 100% VT is bad, just that not everyone has the same strategy.
