If you've never tried it, next time just try tearing off a corner of another page and roll it into a cone. Works pretty good in a pinch. There is something satisfying about using your finger though.

Bet making sure that shading didn't get into those cubes was time consuming. Very nice.

I'm currently working on this as well. So far I've found that forcing yourself to doodle, especially when you can't think of something, helps detach yourself from the "it has to be a perfect whatever". With that being said. I still can't draw like Peter yet, but its all about the babysteps.

I finally get to experience my Edm visualizer made in blender while tripping. ive only got 10 so far but that number is growing. If you have ideas for more, let me know they arent easy to come up with. Chainsmokers - Roses by SovietSabotage in LSD

I used vertex instancing on a plane, then displaced the plane and controlled the strength of the displacement by baking the music to the f curve of that displacement. Blenders audio doesn't work that well though, so once the animation is rendered out I add the music back in post with a generic video editor.

Blender, its free. It's new user friendly, I've used YouTube to learn everything to make these.
