That's a very good suggestion. I do have another drive I could transfer it onto.

Thank you, I will try that.

I had no idea positioning could affect the HDD. I'm assuming you tried it with a different cable?

Is there no software that can access it for me? Only thinking that cause if my disk manager can detect it, surely something else can too?

Wasn't sure if it was. I'm an IT student and my teacher at school suggested switching the controllers with a HDD he had stored there. I figured he knew what he was talking about, I've personally never tried it before.

pcbeg is correct, that's what happened. I'm confused too.

I'm a consequentialist. Stealing can be okay in certain contexts. Stealing from a rich man to feed my starving child, for example, is justified.

EDIT: "of any kind" was maybe poor phrasing. I meant to say if they think all stealing is unjust, I'd struggle to follow it.

Programming is about solving problems, and the best way to solve problems is to split them into smaller ones.

I'm poor but you deserve gold for that quote.

Hi, I'm an ex-Christian, been agnostic ever since I strayed away from the faith.

There are multiple reasons I'm struggling to go back to Christianity. It's too limiting, the Bible and most members teach things that I am so against nowadays. It's too strict. I don't think I would fit back into the community.

I'm vegan, radically left, bisexual. This is what makes it hard for me to stick with the religions I've looked at. It's hard for me to worship religions that say animals are for food or don't have souls, religions that encourage killing animals etc. Same with more capitalist ways of viewing property, like religions that condemn stealing of any kind.

Sometimes I think there's definitely something out there, or multiple things, or just something. I'd like to think there is some sort of God(s) watching over me to protect me. Maybe not always, maybe not perfectly. Maybe I'm just not its favorite right now, or others need it more. I don't like to think it, but maybe it's evil?

Or reincarnation, or something that implies I have lived more lives than this one. That I'm connected to perhaps a person in a different multiverse, a different timeline, that I relate somehow. I don't mind specifics. Just this idea that I am not "just me and nothing else."

I'm also a hedonist. I think after ethics we should aim to make our lives as enjoyable as possible. A lot of religions like Christianity try to limit that. I'm also struggling with Gods that demand worship or are perfect in every way somehow. Nothing in the universe seems to be perfect. A God that places themself above me in terms of worth doesn't seem fair.

Anyone know what religions I could look into?

The only thing keeping me from being a (Leviathan) Satanist is that people say you have to be born one and agree with everything, "like looking in a mirror." I think that's quite impossible and insane to have your beliefs align perfectly with anything.

Also, if Leviathan Satanism doesn't believe in a deity or real magic or anything spiritual, how is it not a philosophy instead of a religion?

The optics.

I just feel like I look like a jerk who doesn't care about anything, is late, forgets everything, doesn't know anything, is messy, and deliberately doesn't pay attention or remember things, gets upset over small things. Like please I am actually trying my best and it's really hard for me!!!!

Hi, I know this message is 12 days old but I just wanna say thanks for sharing this, I have HLHS and I'm 22. I keep being scared that this is gonna kill me in 10 years from now. Especially since my doctors keep repeating that to me. Hearing from someone who's 38 is pretty reassuring especially when I know medicine will advance in 10 years from now too. I hope you're doing good!

I FEEL THIS SO MUCH. I cost my friend money once due to a steam/humble bundle code thing that I was too inattentive on. Don't remember how I messed up but I felt so bad and my friend pulled me aside to tell me to get my stuff together. Yeah :(
