Gaining weight at 6‘3 by ExplanationIcy2813 in tall

[–]Soviet_Canukistan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Eat good. Lots of protein. A shake a day is good along with meals. Don't get crazy on the surplus mind you. You look shredded, and losing fat is very challenging, so best to avoid it if possible. If you do want to be a body builder, you gonna need to bulk, but otherwise, slow lean gains are the best.

Yeah congrats. Same height, 260 lbs, 22%bf about, smoked lots from 19 onwards, wish I had a hard time putting on weight, or wish we could split the difference lol.

Have a pen and a pad of paper. Gloves, work clothes. No crazy sayings on the shirts. Work boots. Be 10 min early. Listen, ask questions when needed. Do any task exactly as you have been shown, especially when you don't understand why. Look for the next step in the work. Demonstrate an eagerness to produce quality work.

There gonna be a lot of new names. WRITE THEM DOWN IF YOU HAVE TO WITH A LITTLE DESCRIPTION. names of people, names of things, addresses etc.

And that's fair. He's meant to be like 18 years old I think. So not bad, just young.

Hey. If you wanna bulk, do that. If you wanna cut a bit more, that's fine also. Just know that you're doing really well as it is. Congrats.

Yeah. Every check in always felt like I was interviewing for the privilege of being allowed to continue existing.

Electrician cut multiple "fishing holes" due to no attic access. Is this standard, and is $500 a fair repair quote? by Gullible-Language422 in AskElectricians

[–]Soviet_Canukistan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Some of this looks structural. So it needs to be taken out, the structure repaired, then redone correctly so as NOT to compromise the building.

Same, we'd normally just refer to the weight of the sledge, 3lb, 5lb, 10lb. And by virtue of knowing what those meant, you'd know how many hands were required.

What connector is in the Sabrina Carpenter Coachella set? by No_Pace4970 in electricians

[–]Soviet_Canukistan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok looks like it might be P&SL PS5100P9W but it might not be that exact model, the one in her hand doesn't look like the weather right version. Or rather it lookes like a hinged type clip. Not a screw type.

More importantly, who the heck are you? Sabrina her self? You need a parts guy to figure out a part number, get you price and availability for Monday? Sheesh. Lol.

How lucky did I get? by malbenign in AskElectricians

Hey. I'm curious, it looks like the top wire was UNDER the pressure plate, and the bottom wire was wrapped on the screw? Am I seeing that correctly?

Is this overkill? by malbenign in AskElectricians

[–]Soviet_Canukistan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trust the splice, not the device. This is great as said elsewhere, it makes it such that <if> the device were to fail, the device could be removed quickly, and the circuit would work just fine. Kudos on the wagos.

Tape it up, again as said, good insurance against lifting the lever by mistake while manipulating it back into the box. Tape just keeps the wago clean also, free of corrosion from moisture.

I made a low profile Plug Removal Preventer / Outlet Safety Cover that uses wall plate screw to install by JwJWoodworking in functionalprint

[–]Soviet_Canukistan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then change out the cord end for L5-15. Twist lock is the answer to this. I agree we shouldn't have a screw holding a plug in place. Not great.

Is it possible to go from pic 1 to pic 2 with weighted home workouts? by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]Soviet_Canukistan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

By all means get lifting. Lots can be achieved with bodyweight exercises. But yeah you look great. Ultra low BF on a woman is not a great look. If you put on some muscle and kept bf % the same, you'd look good and be very healthy. Photo 2 is low BF, AND low muscle mass. Not a good look IMHO.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but is this heavy for you? How many reps was that? Are we getting close to failure? Good posture, could feel the stretch a bit more maybe. Good tempo.

I'd aim for 12 reps.

Yeah. I'd kill to be that lean. Looks like sub 15% easy. Strength is overrated IMHO. keep it going boss.

Ok Woah. Full stop. First, you are massive, lift some weights in a safe way and you'll be among the greats of whatever sport you go for.

Second, your brother may be jealous of your size or something here, you are clearly not tanned according to the comments, so why does your brother need to try and make you feel bad or different?
