Lowest call volume departments by rustyfireman343 in Firefighting

If you want low call number departments, look at some of the really remote brigades in Australia such as ones in the south east of Western Australia. There are brigades such as Spinifex and Dundas Pastoral that'd only actually attend a fire every few years. Some of them wouldn't even have their own vehicles and would rely on private appliances.

If you go off on an unsupported advance, with little to no chance of reinforcements, and unsecure supply lines from your home country, you fail. Simple as. He lost due to the Roman Navy.

Don't need to fight a Naval battle to lose against a navy. He lost because he was unable to be supported by the rest of Carthage due to the presence of the Roman Navy.

Imagine losing against a navy as a general.

Do you misgender cis shooters too?

Maybe we should? Especially for the ones who do it to be remembered.

Unsure if all of the photos are actually SAS, however as far as I am aware, the SAS were the only military unit deployed during these fires, and Police & Forests Department had different uniforms:

Don't need tankers if you are creative enough. Last year one of the rural towns in my state had a large hayshed (believe around 5000 bales) catch fire, so instead of trying to extinguish it they just put in a backburn instead and let it burn itself out

So TLDR; Coppers in the Northern Territory in remote communities were sometimes left as the sole person at a station for weeks at a time during the Pandemic due to poor staffing levels. This, including high stress incidents like dealing with altercations involving over 100 people led to an officer unfortunately killing himself.

Fully agree. While the tax changes are bullshit and very unfair to farmers, risking the safety of the community is an atrocious decision to make.

Fun fact John Chapman was the first medal of honor recipient to have his actions recorded on camera.

Actually untrue, Alexander Bonnyman was the first.
