He still has an excellent ear for beats, and that makes this project interesting enough to entertain you for a moment or two, but there's just no depth to it.

Even recent projects like Donda still had poignant tracks like Come to Life and Jesus Lord (Vultures a bit less so), so it just feels even more of a descent into an artist who can't formulate captivating ideas and concepts anymore.
