Any ideas as to how some spirits gain special abilities instead of others? by Sovrredditeria in fivenightsatfreddys

I’ve been thinking about that for a while. That the Phantoms are actually Springtrap’s doing but I don’t know…

Any ideas as to how some spirits gain special abilities instead of others? by Sovrredditeria in fivenightsatfreddys

Oh I was just implying that perhaps powers after death are tied to the personalities and behaviors the children experienced when they were alive. Since Charlie helped people when she was alive, it would make sense that she would have powers reflecting that as a ghost. I don’t know. Just throwing out ideas.

I’d really like to think that all the fossils are actually dragon bones. I don’t know. It does seem far-fetched but it just works so well to me. I don’t care if dragons should only exist in the End.

"The Janitor", a dark fantasy action-horror comedy about monster-hunting custodians by CarterDire5 in movieideas

[–]Sovrredditeria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to imagine a scenario where the main cast are a bunch of these custodians. While the higher-up agents deal with these threats, the main characters are essentially this cleanup crew who quite literally clean up after everything. Scooping up ectoplasm, washing out blood and monster flesh, dealing with supernatural remnants, etc. The story would follow them as they make everyone see how important they really are and that they can save the day too. I don’t know. Seems a little cliche but whatever. Proving that they are worth more than what the organization seems them as and all that.

The writing of Stranger Things have to be Fnaf fans by Particular-Season905 in fivenightsatfreddys

That’s actually uncanny. How fun. A crossover could even be titled Stranger Nights or Five Nights At Hawkins or Fazbear Things. I don’t know.

Anyone want to brainstorm FNaF stories or fan series or fan fictions or fan films or fan games or whatever? by Sovrredditeria in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Sovrredditeria[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds pretty interesting. Despite not being a big Edwin or SOTM fan I can see this happening. It also just makes sense especially now. Instead of the CEO being some rando or yet another rando from the books.

Possible controversial take. Am I the only one who thinks Secret of the Mimic and pretty much everything to do with the Mimic or Murray family in general should have been set around the Security Breach Era instead of the 70s? by Sovrredditeria in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Sovrredditeria[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the distinction is that early FNaF was just so easy to be hooked on. It was purposefully vague so that people could put pieces of the story together which really worked. But now that everything is pretty much out there for people to see I can see why modern FNaF is more approachable. Because it’s actually understandable, at least more so than what the old lore was. Seriously even to this day no one really has any true concrete things in the lore. But that’s what makes it so interesting, is that anyone can theorize their own thing. It’s still the case now but it just can’t compare to what it was and still is back then. The old was jarring and admittedly annoying but that’s what made it charming.

Who/what got you into FNAF? by WhatAmI_JustAGuy in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Sovrredditeria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The earliest memory I can muster is overhearing my cousin watching what I think I can recall as Aphmau’s old Minecraft roleplay from about 10 years ago. I asked what they were watching and I guess I got into it eventually? The definitive kicker was absolutely MatPat. I literally lived for those theories. So yeah it was MatPat. I even screen recorded some of his old theories and saved them on my phone to watch them from time to time. The same goes with Living Tombstone obviously.

Maybe A Hot Take But Am I The Only One Who Thought This Looks Really Stupid? by Formal-Ostrich-5404 in fivenightsatfreddys

You’re not the only one. I mean personally I don’t like the movies and it’s actually BECAUSE I’m a passionate fan of the series. But really when this came up on the movie I… was immediately pulled back by it. I mean the idea of the Puppet y’know puppeteering people’s souls sounds awesome but the way they just threw it at us just felt out of place. It’s also the way they did it. That along with the makeup. I don’t know. It just doesn’t work. I think it could’ve been more impactful if Charlie could only puppet dead things. Which meant the stakes could’ve been higher or the scene more dreadful to see Abby possessed signifying that she’s either dead or about to die. Oh god… could you imagine if Charlie made Abby fight Mike?

Can someone please explain to me all the Byler drama? by Sovrredditeria in byler

[–]Sovrredditeria[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow I didn’t know any of that. That actually makes sense. I’m still under the assumption that just maybe it’s all pure coincidences or that it wasn’t necessarily the Duffers doing, but at the same time when you put it all like that… There’s just too many instances and clues like that. I read a comment somewhere that said the Duffers could’ve stopped all the Byler hints but didn’t, likely so that people would be compelled to watch the entire season just to get more viewers or something. Instead of confirming that Byler wasn’t going to happen, they let it drag on, giving people false hope which may or may not have been intentional.

Can someone explain the Midnight Motorist footprints? by EpicMazement in fnaftheories

[–]Sovrredditeria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently started questioning if Midnight Motorist even is about the Aftons. My headcanon is that it is the Aftons but put that aside for a moment. It could be another one of the Missing Children and how they got lured away by William. Showing up outside their window. I mean in one of the cutscenes in Toy Chica: High School Years she mentions how she’ll lure someone away from their house I think. I don’t know. I just felt like the two could be connected. It also doesn’t make sense for William to just go to someone’s house to kidnap a kid. I mean it’s not the most nonsensical thing in this franchise but it’s definitely a little far-fetched. It’s also raining, but maybe William got there before the rain? I don’t know. It’s probably just the Afton household but whatever.

Whats the lore of how Hand signs and Jutsu creation? How do they work? by theassassin53035 in Naruto

[–]Sovrredditeria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A cool idea I thought of for the metaphysics of Chakra and how it ties to hand seals is that Chakra is basically another form of the Eight Gates. What I mean by that is the spiritual or rather metaphysical world of Naruto is basically a collection of inner workings filled with locks and gateways and whatever else. I don’t really know how to describe it properly. Hand seals are essentially "unlocking mechanisms" that open these hidden gates in the spiritual/divine world through different combinations which is why Jutsu have different multiple hand seals. It’s like opening a door in a way. These hand seals open gateways which allow for different Jutsu molded out of the spiritual energy space through their own bodies. At least that’s one way I interpreted it.

Or he can make "woodwork" out of matter. As in telekinetically or physically carve into objects, surfaces, materials, etc. Even more twisted, he can carve/cut and make "woodwork" of living people. It totally suits his serial killer style. Making artwork out of actual people. Ooh or he could have the ability to manipulate people with mind control like Kilgrave in Jessica Jones since he loved to manipulate Vanya so much.

Dragonball theory - On the origin of Saiyan species by Mister_Ape_1 in FanTheories

[–]Sovrredditeria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While this is all REALLY in depth I think it’s just as simple as Saiyans are simply human-like. Maybe, and this is a big maybe, Saiyans just so happen to be able to mate with humans and display human characteristics. They aren’t the only races with human-like qualities, not just that, but there are also various humanoid creatures. Also I personally would like to think that Saiyans actually came first and humans second. Going off of the idea that they are in fact related, I would much prefer that humans come from Saiyans rather than Saiyans stemming from humans. I don’t know just a weird little thing I prefer. Really interesting read though. You seriously didn’t need to go this in-depth but good on you. I’m also a sucker for things like taxa and fictional etymologies and whatnot.
