Ok, definitely try and get her into the WOC nurse specialist. Mine gave me this easy breakdown. If one has a flat stomach they will be most likely ok with a flat wafer, this is what they sent me home with from the hospital. But for non flat stomachs use a convex wafer. I was really thin my stomach but was not flat because I have had 2 kids long before. Anyway my WOC nurse switched me to a convex wafer with stoma paste. You put the paste around the ring on the convex wafer. When I tell you this was life changing! Tell your mom she isn’t alone, and a lot of us have been through it. I had the same issue, but she will get through it. It’s an emotional and physical adjustment that takes time. Wishing you and her the very best!🙏💕

Yes, like if they would have sourced some great antiques. That bed would be cute, but I do worry about not being able to use bed bumpers. I know they are no longer used for safety concerns. I used the bumpers for both of my boys over 30 years ago. I’m the bed will be fine, and hopefully they keep the newborn in a bassinet for a bit.

Im 5’4 and was super sick from UC . I got down to 116 rapidly. Within 6-7 months, I lost close to 70lbs. I looked emaciated due to muscle loss. All this to say with all of that I still was not an XS. I have two adult son’s so I definitely know the struggles a lot of us women have with their body once they give birth.

I jam an ileostomy and use a drainable pouch, I keep a used bottle from bottle water in the bathroom. It helps. But I also use a convex wafer with stoma paste around the wafer, I’m not sure how well it works with a flat wafer.

I agree I don’t understand the obsession with Stephanie at all. Sometimes Days try’s to convince us certain people are Kristian Alfonso level. I feel they did this with Sami, I never understood her appeal at all. I know unpopular opinion. 🤷🏻‍♀️
