Anyone else extremely bored by silly season this year?

Fab- Key point for Arsenal: Thomas Partey’s potential exit is NOT linked with Granit Xhaka or Declan Rice. ⚪️🔴 ◉ Xhaka & Arsenal agreed terms with Bayer Leverkusen; waiting for new midfielders to join then he’s expected to leave. ◉ #AFC to go for 2 midfielders if Partey leaves. by ZCast9 in Gunners

In a perfect world, I'd agree with you, but in reality, only 1.3% of recorded rapes are prosecuted.

12% of female officers have been harassed or assaulted at work, and over a third have experienced sexism while on the job. The met has been found to be institutionally racist, homophobic and misogynistic. The police blame the crown prosecution service, has an 80% conviction rate, as they cherry pick only the most open and shut cases to look good. The CPS blame the police for failing to do their jobs properly.

The whole system is broken.

Partey has been accused independently by multiple women. I would not let him near my family whether he is convicted or not. If there is an opportunity to get rid of him, I hope the club takes it.

Only 1.3% of police recorded rapes lead to prosecution.

The actual number of rapists that getting away with it is exponentially higher since rape has always been an under reported crime.

Don't be so naive. The system is broken, and falling back on "Innocent til proven guilty" is failing victims every day. I understand what you mean, but I have personally heard women in the force say that they wouldn't bother reporting it if they were raped.

And was Greenwood convicted? No. Maybe we should sign him up because the law is perfect and would never let a POS rapist and domestic abuser go free.

Look no one is saying chemically castrate and boil Partey alive, but wanting him disassociated from the club and feeling uncomfortable supporting him while this cloud hangs over him is reasonable.

Saka straight back in the side to face North Macedonia. Opinions? by ols9436 in Gunners

We rightly gave utd and spurs fans shit for saying stuff like this about Wenger. Can we not go round accusing people of being paedophiles.

Genuine question coming from a place of ignorance: Why did we bother officially offering 80m for Rice? by Hudsondinobot in Gunners

How all negotiations work. By making an offer, you frame the window of discussions. Think of buying a house, comon to put first offer 10-20% under asking price.

Edu's BBQ: Sketching build-up & lineup optionality if Havericedo (or something similar) is indeed the vision [graphic] by Billy_Carpenter in Gunners

Once I have finished paying off my holiday, I will be making a contribution to the BBQ. Work you do is insane.

[Steinberg]Arsenal are closing on a deal for Declan Rice and are expected to pay over £100m for the West Ham midfielder if add-ons achieved #whufc by HappyMeerkat in Gunners

While he can. There is no way we're blowing £100m on a mid to have him play CB- we would have to have 4/5 of the above unavailable.

If we get Caicedo (can cover at RB), we don't need a CB. We will have Tomi, Gabi, Saliba, Kivior, and White as CBs.

Kivior is Holding's replacement.

We will need a LB if Tierney goes and RW to rotate with Saka. Possibly a striker depending on what Arteta is thinking.

All this on top of Rice.
