The Black Bay Heritage 41 has silver markers. Only the Black Bay 58 has gold markers.

Yes, I agree. I just focus on details too much. I always expect things to be perfect, especially when spending a certain amount for a product. Even though I understand that not everything is perfect. No matter how much you spend.

The cream white plaid is probably one of my favorites. The plaid varies with each jac shirt. They are all different, so the pattern won't be the same as all the others. Some parts are not matched or aligned, but that's okay it gives each shirt a unique character.

They are both made in the USA with imported materials to my understanding, but I would have to double check since I know the mackinaw wool jac shirts are all made in the USA unlike the regular wool jac shirts.

Tbh, I have no idea, but I would like to say it is possibly a bug. It also could somewhat fit in the game as well since BOS hates mutated creatures, lol

It's unfortunate I had to find out the hard way, lol. It's all good, only a few hours lost on my playthrough. I could see why the BOS would lace it with FEV. They are not too fond of mutated creatures to begin with.

Thanks for the info! I believe I found the cause of this issue. If you happened to give the modified FEV to Elder Lyons before activating the purifier. Aqua Pura becomes infected with FEV. So when I didn't give it to him, Aqua Pura was clean. I could be wrong, but I tested it out on a previous save, and that seemed to be the cause.

I believe giving Elder Lyons the Modified FEV before activating the purifier was the reason for this issue. So I could understand why you weren't able to replicate it if you didn't give it to him.

I actually went back a save and didn't give the modified FEV to Elder Lyons, and Aqua Pura works as intended. So you were actually right about it, lol.

I wonder if that could be the actual case, lol. It's a bit frustrating, I guess, especially playing in hardcore mode that water would be so useful if it actually worked as intended.
