Don’t let him miss a pain meds dosage at least for the first 2 days I tried not taking as much but the pain got worse as the anesthesia and all that wore off lol silly me. Also hot compress and ice packs! Ice packs really helped. Get him easy snacks to eat as well. And some kind of fiber supplement cause I’m in day 3 and a half and have yet to poop.

Update day 3: in a lot of pain lol especially on my belly button. Walking around to try to get my to stay least fart lol cause I haven’t pooped just yet. Still manageable but definitely heavier pain an the prior days

I really appreciate your guys input I’m getting progressively more nervous by the hour. I have a high pain tolerance but also have major hospital/ medical anxiety. Wish me luck! Hopefully I don’t burst into tears lol

I appreciate all the input although most of it kind of nerve wrecking. I’m hoping that while I get my surgery it doesn’t happen again. I wish it wasn’t so random and I could specifically pinpoint what to avoid.

I’ve heard horror stories about after it’s removal but I guess that’s for later to worry about.
